Played for awhile the game is great and the adventure is well written. I'm interested in signing up for the premium account. I'm wondering if there are enough active premium members to take advantage of the co-op quests?
Glad to be part of the game and good luck to all!

Welcome Kudegras!

The only scenarios in Sryth which require teamwork from players are the multiplayer battles, commonly known in the forum as MPs. There are a lot of active AG (Adventurers' Guild) players around in Sryth, though how many are playing at any one time does depend a lot on your time zone. Sometimes MP battles around this time of day can take a while, either because there aren't that many people about, or just because those players aren't in the mood or are busy with something else.

It's worth bearing in mind, though, that the MPs are only one part of the game, and nothing else in the game is dependent on completing an MP battle. There are objects which you pick up during a battle, but it's perfectly possible to fight only as long as you need to get what you're looking for, then go and do something else if the fight's moving too slowly.

The idea of a co-op quest seems fascinating!

Oh, zm, I've already considered that. When I have time later, I'll post all of my ideas for co-op adventuring, and it actually might work if the GM put it in. It will pop up in the Suggestions Board later.

Hello Kudegras. Nice to meet you:)

I think the only semi-co-op adventure we're likely to get is the character-to-character bouts at Zumryn's. However the GM programs it, it might be the foundation for two-player adventures. I'm dubious about the game's ability to handle "parties."

And tex, if that ever happens, I call dibs on TG being my partner :D

What if TG doesn't want either of you? Who says she wouldn't go with Lightwielder?

Although, if you can choose different partners for different adventures, I'd go with Dariel and then Tex. :)

Well, you wouldn't go with Lightwielder cuz he's a square. Go with the cool guy

WOOT
First comes Dariel
Then comes Tex
I guess Lightwielder is the least loved. I'm so sorry for you, LW...

I hope you know I'm just joking. You're a cool dood. In fact, you're so cool, I decided to dedicate this phrase to you: I think Lightwielder is a pretty cool guy. eh does PG's and doesn't afraid of anything.

I'm sorry, but Brothers and Sisters in Christ should stick together. And if you're trying to tear us apart, (nothing is ment by that other than Brothers and Sisters should stick tgether) then maybe you're not so nice after all. You might just be joking, but you still insulted Lightwielder, and then your apology is in invisable ink, which you KNOW he doesn't like. Oh, and at least try for good Grammer and Spelling.

The spelling and grammar mistakes were intentional, it's a meme. Sorry if he thinks I'm serious, I'm not, I'll go edit it visible now.

Sorry D:

Sorry D:

Relax, TG. I thought it was incredibly funny. I actually rep'd him for it. If I didn't have to switch computers just now, I would've commented on his spelling and grammar, though. (because of the anal grammar nazi that I am:))

And, yes, I saw and didn't mind the half-invisible apology.

Oh man, that's a load off my shoulders. I thought you hated me D:
And I was thinking of the opportunity of having an arch-nemesis..loljk

Thanks for the rep :D

Note: Yeah, I noticed how everyone here is a grammar nazi. To be honest, I'm a grammar nazi too, but I put that aside for memes. Maybe roleplaying too. XD

Well, you know, be careful what you wish for, Dariel.

No, not everyone here is a grammar nazi, but adequate typing capability does tend to show up here. It's to be expected from a text-only game like Sryth and the people who appreciate it. I simply paid too much attention in Language class, I think, even before I joined Sryth.

What's a sunbun?

Pedant Alert: A spelling nazi more accurately describes someone nitpicking on spelling.

Stupid sunburn. Diminishing my typing skills so that I drop letters.

It's effecting *crosses fingers that there's the right word* my brain, remember? I'm usually not this bad...

Anyway, this is so far off topic, it's not funny...

You would be correct about that. But, it's definitely been fun. So fun, in fact, that I didn't even comment on kudegras making a new topic. I think something's wrong with me...:(

Pedant Alert: A spelling nazi more accurately describes someone nitpicking on spelling.

Extra pedant alert: The use of the phrase 'spelling nazi' suggests that the person using it doesn't really understand what went on in Nazi Germany, and may be considered offensive.

Just a thought...

"Not quite so pedant" alert: Yes, but we have all sorts of terms and figures of speech and such that now mean something, and are used as such, regardless of how much literal sense they make.

They might mean something to one culture, and something different and maybe offensive to another. This is an international forum. I was just trying to highlight the fact that what may be a fairly common way of expressing something in the US may strike other people totally differently.

Nicely put Dooli as it can have different meanings for different folks regardless of the context - even here in the U.S..

Dammit, so much for having some freebie company. Well, may your less Scroogian tendencies serve you well. ;)
