Does anyone else find it impossible to defeat Mironor? I've exceeded his score several times, but it always says that we tie.

It is possible to defeat him. If you tie with him then the difference is not high enough. Simply having a higher total is not enough to win, just like simply having a lower total does not equal defeat. The difference between the two totals must be above a certain number for one of you two to win.

What are your scores in Horsemanship and Lances?

I was being stoopid. I was only looking at the total of the rolls, not the individual rolls. I sank a grip of points into those skills; adept at lances and master of horses. Got it now.

I beat him...after like 12 tries with master in both lances and horse.
