New player questions

I have a newbie question here: My sons and I just started this game and one of the sons is a archer and he can't find arrows, do you have any suggestions? I am also getting killed a lot in the AG adventures, even though I do things the right way, any suggestions? One last question: How do you get higher NV?

There are no arrows in the game. If you have the skill of Archery it is assumed you carry enough arrows.

Hard to say anything about you getting killed without any more info - at the very least your MR and the name of the adventures causing you problems. Giving us the link to your character's profile may also help.

The only way to increase NV is through items.

Like Shadowblack said without more info it's hard to say what's causing your untimely "you've been slains".

But in the meantime be advised there are several things around that can help with the Sryth learning curve. First don't overlook the docs on the game's main page, especially the playing tips.

Also the forum community is the place to ask questions. And the Hints thread in Help has a lot of good info. Also the wiki is a bevy of info - particularity the Character Startup Guides.

Just be advised both the Hints thread and the Wiki and its Startup Guides have spoiler potential. While both are spoiler tagged not everything that might be considered spoilerish is tagged. Also there are some links to threads/posts on the old forum. Just be advised you have to be registered on the old forum to view posts.
