Startup Scenarios

I found we don't have a dedicated thread to discuss these.

For new players who might stumble upon this thread, the wiki page on them (http://sryth.wikia.com/wiki/Startup_Scenarios).

Also, just because this seems like a good place to link them, we already have two (http://www.srythforum.com/showthread.php?t=1039) separated threads (http://www.srythforum.com/showthread.php?t=988) dedicated to the Character Startup Guide.

Now, the reason I started this. I just found an anonymous editor added this (http://sryth.wikia.com/index.php?title=Character_Startup_Guide&curid=2339&diff=24143&oldid=24118) to the wiki, plainly stating Startup Scenarios are back.

I tested with my test non-AG account, and they are not back, at least for new, non-AG accounts.

Then I tested with my AG account (which is AG since 2008). My test slot is able to access it on character restart and character creation, both as a non-AG slot and as an AG slot.

Could somebody around here (with an AG account created after 5/31/10) test it with a spare AG or non-AG slot? If nobody can confirm it, I'll revert that contribution. And this thread can still serve to talk about the good old times when the lonely country roads of western Tysa were even lonelier after dark...

Yes. I hereby confirm that:
1. For new AG accounts the start-up scenarios are back.
2. They are not available for non-AG accounts.

Anybody else with relatively new accounts, you can help too to refine the date they became available again.

I started my AG account around the 1st of September and had the SS.
However I am positive that I came accross a comment stating that another AG subscriber had access to the Startup Scenarios before that. Sadly I cannot recall in which thread. I did a lot of reading at that time. :o

I was actually about to let you all know that the SS are back but then I read that bit leading me to believe you all knew, since it was on the forum and all that. Odd, no? :D

So, question: were the SS removed for all accounts inculding existing ones with free character slots left or just for new memebres? Just curious.

Initially the startups were removed for both AG and non AG accounts. Testing indicated they were only removed for new accounts (created after they were removed). Accounts created, whether AG or non AG, before they were removed still had/have access on them on new or restarted characters.

Also the GM indicated that all the scenarios would/will eventually be made available. If they've been reinstated (even for AG only) hopefully it's not indicative that it's changed.
