Hello, there. Call me Onaya. Just signed up with Sryth today, played for a good three hours :D and decided to check out the forum. It's been a very long time since I've seen a text RPG game. I'm thrilled to death with it. Glad to be here.

First off, welcome to Sryth and the forum. And secondly, your signature is very nice. This coming from a die-hard Tolkien fan :) . Try, if you don't mind mega-spoilers, to visit the Wiki. It should give you a ton of information on character-building and adventures. And don't shy away from experimenting with different characters. All the best!

Welcome to the forum Onaya Greenmark. Like Elrond stated the wiki is a good source of info - particurlarly it's start up guides for AG and non AG characters. Also there is a hints thread in help on the forum.
And I'll echo Elrond once more - nice sig and avatar as well. Your,
It's been a very long time since I've seen a text RPG game.really piqued my interest. D&D background? If so what version. We have our fare share of pen and pencilers on here.
Notice you're from Texas as is Texlaw. Also notice you're a writer - feel free to make full use of the Creative Corner section.
Again welcome.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. Really know how to make a gal feel special.;)

Ha! I couldn't even begin to tell you, it's been so long. I used to play D&D growing up. It was like a family game, I guess. We'd sometimes play until 4 am. My dad was a brutal DM.:D I quit playing around the age of fifteen. I actually really miss it. Oh, but enough of this reminiscing.
Always nice to see a fellow Texan - and no, I don't really talk like that (lol).
Indeed it is nice to see another Texan.:) And, I do talk like that. So get ready to see lots of expressions like 'y'all' and 'over yonder'. I have terrible Texas accent, too.

I'll do my faux Texas accent:
Howdy, good to see you round these parts.
Hope you'll drop by fer a spell.
Y'all come back now.

Welcome to the forum, Onaya.
I see you're registered as a free user, so I would like to remind you of the cool bonuses you get when you register for AG (Adventurer's Guild) on the first tree days after account creation.

Welcome, Onaya! Glad you're enjoying the game so far. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v735/Old_Ned/icon_cool.gif
I, too, like your signature quotation, though I would recommend that you change both occurrences of "it's" to "its" (no apostrophe).
As well as the cool bonuses Scarbrow mentions, joining the Adventurers' Guild makes a lot of additional game content available to you. Well worth it for such a low price. Other games charge as much per month as Sryth charges per year.

Grammar, spelling, punctuation........
I was going to say I think you all are being a bit pedantesque not to mention over dramatic but then I thought better about it.
