Starting stats vs raising stats later

Does anyone know if your MR, SP, and NV increase if you raise the corresponding stat with an elixir or similar? If you don't start with the +4/+4 bonus, can you get it later?

That must be the case... but good question! So good, in fact, that I hesitate to say a simple "yes." Still, it must be!...

Not sure but I think that was discussed awhile back and I think someone mentioned raising their MR or SP although it could've been via the Fogbough permanent boost.

And to be truthful I'm not sure if it was just surmised or actually confirmed.

If Scarbrow or Shadowblack read this they may be able to answer for sure.
