Do they have a cycle or are they one shot only.
I ask because I wanted to upgrade my shadowfire blade and finally got enough Adventure tokens to do it.. only i missed the time limit by one day >_<. SO I want to know will the shadowfire weapons appear again?

Hi, Rift. First off, welcome to the Sryth forum! :)
Not being much of a Tallys frequent-shopper myself, consider this just a windowshopper's observation. Some of Tallys's offerings do seem to cycle and come back on the shelves.
I suggest sending a note to the GameMaster (GM) himself. From the news announcement he made today (http://www.srythforum.com/showthread.php?p=52801#post52801), it seems that Tallys may bring back some items due to great popular demand, even those considered "forever retired".
Best of luck on your adventurers in Tysa!

Welcome to the forum Rift120.
The limited time collections reappear every so often which is random although there are some seasonal items (Halloween, Christmas, etc....) that appear during those times in addition to random appearances.

Tallys does retire some items although they can be brought out of retirement by demand like the current collection. The Shadowfire items haven't been retired as far as I know.

Welcome, Rift120
Keep in mind the items are not automatically cycled. They appear and disappear as the GM sees fit. So you cannot assume they will be back, no matter how many times they've done so previously.

The short answer is "Yes". The shadowfire items will become available again.
Only one set of items has been made unobtainable, and that's the Bloodrune equipment.

Great, so I just have to be patient...

The limited time items seem to be on a fairly frequent rotation so I second Arakin's good advice about asking Tallys via the GM to bring 'em outta storage.
Downside to all the limited time stuff is that Tallys hasn't added many permanent pieces.....
* AHEM!!! *
......especially those sought after mid level and mid priced items that many of us have expressed interest in seeing.
Your attempt at subtlety failed!;)

Ahem... Disney's "Vault." :) (Is that word copyrighted? ;))
Welcome to the other side forum, Rift120.

Disney's Vault? Um... what is the significance of that?

Disney's Vault? Um... what is the significance of that?
Disney has two 'vault' practices:
- the more common: pull a movie out of circulation for a while (routinely 10 years, but there are many instances of less than 10 years) then re-release it
This is purely a marketing tool.
And (in the past) has had the tendency to generate 'buzz' about the film which generated demand which did well for Disney's bottom line.
Given the rise of the internet with its on-line sellers and with services such as e-Bay, how well this 'vault' system (vs leaving films essentially continually in production and thus always available) will continue to do is in doubt.
- the less common one: items which (primarily because of changes in culture and what is 'acceptable') Disney does not want to be seen.
Disney's "Song of the South" (made in 1946, the title & year may give you some idea why this is in the vault) would fit in this category.
I am inferring the reference in this thread is with regards to:
- Tallys has many items which are always available
- Tallys has limited time items which (so far) never 'permanently' retire (and instead are periodically - every 3-6 or more months - available for a few days then ‘back into the vault’)
- maybe Tallys has some items which no one ever sees ...
I am curious to see if the Bloodrune collection has been permanently retired.

Perfect explanation, DonMoody, thanks! :) Better than I would've done, in fact, since I wasn't even thinking of the 'insensitive' and 'controversial' (to say the least) material that good old Disney produced (in accordance with his supposedly not-so-charming views and prejudices?).
Well, there you go Young Ned: my personal tongue-in-cheek view on Tallys' limited-time items perfectly explained, elegantly wrapped, complete with a bow and greeting card! Good thing too, since I failed to notice your question, now marked two days old (and didn't think of explaining it in my previous post).
Repped for that, Don. :) And wondering: what may be hidden by Tallys in his vault(s) that no one may ever get to see?
Hm... Let the speculation begin! The quest for the Secret Srythian Doomsday Weapon of Mass Destruction, or SSDWOMD! A sword that does 500+ damage in one shot? 1,000+? A Toe of Terror that can inflict upwards of 15,000 SP damage? 20,000+? Too 'pedestrian'... ('Punny.' ;))
More like an unassuming little wand that releases a sun-blotting swarm of carnivorous locusts which can leave poor old Ildraria standing on skeletal legs, and consume the Demon-X, Wolfie or Blobbie in a single round of battle. I'd say. (Gourdie? Pffft... That's just overgrown vegetation. Maybe there's a vegetarian version of the wand. :))
Or a portable miniature circus - a small troupe consisting not of fleas, but harmless little air-breathing, 'aquaphobe' flying fishes, named "The Flying Piraņas." (It's a working title... :))
"Don't tease the fishes!" :D

Probably a single blue gem..... ;)

The following is an excerpt taken from an interview with Tallys himself. In regards to this thread, the Interviewer is Badstench, while the part of Tallys was answered by the GM:
Q) Stories abound that you have many items stored away that have never been displayed in the shop. Is this true and, if so, why don’t you display them?
Yes it's true, and they're all under lock and key - and guarded by a series of powerful enchantments - so don't get any ideas.
Some of the items that I don't display do make appearances, either in raffles, or as pieces in special, limited-time collections. Others will gradually make their way onto my shelves as time dictates.
And a further question asked about raffle items...
Q) Why do you periodically hold raffles of items not available from your shop? Is this a ploy to maximise your income potential, or is there a deeper philanthropic answer?
I can only say that I enjoy them. And, they provide me with a way to directly bestow just a bit of my own success on those throughout this vast kingdom who find themselves short on luck and worse for circumstance.

Thanks to DM and TC for clarifying the vault reference considerably. :D

To anyone with the Onyxian Shadow special items (in particular, the bracers and tabard), can you post the stats please. I've looked in the wiki, but couldn't find them with searches related to "Onyxian" or "Tallys".
Thanks.

Here ya go (the post linked and the one after it).....

Looks like they may be missing from the wiki as I also searched items alphabetically with no luck - a few other Onyxian items though.

Dang! Me wants those bracers!
But baby steps. I'm waiting for the Winteriron items to come around again.
