Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

I noticed yesterday that I seem to have lost the 'Quick Combat' option for fighting the denizens of the HoLS! Has anyone else noticed this? Is it deliberate or a bug?

I have sent an in game message about it but haven't had a reply yet. (early days)

Cheers for any insights.

Hi, Yes noticed this this morning, but only now had chance to check the Forum, so will wait and see for any other comments. Also not sure if it's just poor rolls of the dice but my Damage when using B.O.Gem seem to have reduced considerably over the last few days. Any one else noticed this. Yours Aren Vork.

That has been happening for a while and looks to be deliberate according to the sages of the forum :)

Oh, no sages need be uprooted, a fool like me will do:

yes, Aren Vork, the BOG damage has been drastically reduced, that's a fact - to about 10% its former self, in fact.

As to the statues: I noticed that, however, only after upgrading them to their second level, past 'basic' model, the original state in which they were purchased - that may just be a coincidence though, and I haven't even bothered giving it a thought, assuming instead that the change resulted from their upgrade. (Now it's time for sages to enter, as I am new to residential concerns... )

I don't think that's it TC as my hall and statues were upgraded to the max a while ago and I have been merrily smashing them all up three times a day for a while using the QC button. Yesterday and today I am having to go through the battles one MIGHTY THUMP at a time.

That's what I feared, when I saw your post, Chareos...

It seems the battle mode may have been changed to match those of your Halgirom and mote-dwelling Trossk, if I'm not mistaken - as well as those of non-lethal fights in general...

Haven't checked yet but the combat xp was upped considerably a while back so maybe that's why. Maybe (greedily hoping ) that perhaps the awards were bumped up again and that's why the QC got canned.

Since the combat xp adjustment was very generous I seriously doubt anything but the QC has changed. While I'd much rather have QC I'll have to run through it and see if going through the HoLS/HoS click by click is worth it on a time ratio basis.

I'm guessing with the new combat xp. In light of the HoS change I'm wondering and somewhat worrying about is similar replayables like Sword Island and the PoM suffering the same fate.

The QC button was removed from the HoLS as a "fix" to a bug where a player could earn the xp reward for the same fight many times. I tested it and earned the reward for one statue about 6 times before stopping. And it only counted as 1 statue during 1 run.

Anyhow, I've emailed the GM hoping he'd return the QC button; but it seems the he envisions the HoLS without a QC button, like the pet halgirom.

Apologies if I am being a bit dim, but do you mean the GM has replied and said as much or is that your opinion?

Cheers :D

(Again, guest looking at this - an update is due.)

Update thanks to Summermoon's reporting first:

the Quickstone's 'Quick Combat' option is again available when battling the 'Living Statues' (in the Hall of Living Statues) of every adventurer's grand residence who has purchased one, along with the required residential upgrades.
