Anybody know how I continue this after I get the Torn Page from Brother Kol? The wiki says nothing about where to go next. The conversation with Brother Kol mentioned the Murk but I forgot where that is. Can I still go there even though I've finished the 2 Murks quests already?

The Murk is in Stormfield and yes you can still go back there. Follow the directions in the action pane. They will tell you where to go. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the location of the Murk. I went there and checked every square and still nothing. This quest is very frustrating. Unlike other quests that give you the option to cancel and try later, this one loses that option after you finish talking to Brother Kol. Please, does anyone have any information of what I should do and where I should go after I talk to him?

Never mind. A friend showed me and I feel like a fool for missing it. Thanks. :)

Foolishness is good sometimes! Like, in Bentlimb wood, I had the round blue stone in my invintory, and I was busting hours trying to find the item to make the fountain work.

Well I am slower than a Gopher Tortoise in Mid-January: I got The Ancient Fountain... and blue stone combo; I did The Ancient Dhormu, Toribikk...
but I have no clue as to what to do with The Ruined Tower... and The Catamarok Statue...
when I first started searching Bentlimb Wood I was getting a black combat code for the Striped Bear and the Dhormuk's; now they are either green or grey... in other words Day's of searching ... does anyone have a helpful hint or 6, please?

Use a skill/power in the Tower:
Either Thievery (I think that's what most of us used) or Arcana (I'm not sure about this one, but I seem to recall someone using it). Also a power (such as Shadow Magic - at least one person has used it) might be of use there.
Oh, and if you use something other than Thievery please post the text.

I checked the wiki apparently while Shadowblack was posting as he ninja'd me ;) and it says only Arcana/Thievery. Also it's one of those out of the ordinary times when a hint isn't provided. With that in mind it may be possible that Shadow Magic and/or other skills/powers may be usable there.

Layla isn't in any shape to be even thinking about going further in Bentlimb than Torbikk. But, I think that some possible skills are: Lore and Woodsmanship

:o:eek: That would explain why Toribikk gave that particular Skill ... Thanks for helping out this old Gopher Tortoise.

Arcana (40): You've successfully used your skill of Arcana.
XP +4 You've been awarded a total of 4 Experience...
4 xp applied to Arcana...
Putting your knowledge of such things to the test, you make a quick, but thorough examination of the door and are pleasantly surprised when you discover a small impression set into its base. Your expert eye immediately recognizes the indentation to be the hidden latch that will allow you to open the weighty stone door.
After several moments of fiddling with the hidden latch, a muffled 'click' from behind the door signals that the stone portal is about to open.
You step back and watch with growing satisfaction as the tall slab of stone swings outward to reveal a small, circular chamber beyond.
Prepared to confront whatever may lie within the chamber, you step boldly into the shadowy room...
Please continue...Lore (40): You've successfully used your skill of Lore.

You summon your power of conjuration and watch with fascination as a thick iron latch materializes on the smooth surface of the stone door.
Wasting no time, you reach out and grasp the latch. After several moments of intense strain, the tall slab of stone swings slowly outward to reveal a small, circular chamber beyond.
Prepared to confront whatever may lie within the chamber, you step boldly into the shadowy room...

Violette doesn't have Shadow Magic at the moment, but no other Powers or Skills work.

I believe Thievery requires 40 or less because it too gives 4 XP.
As for Shadow Magic I have copied this from the old forum:
Your use of Shadow Magic has succeeded...
XP +4 You've been awarded a total of 4 Experience...
4 xp applied to Shadow Magic...
You channel your power of shadow magic and watch as the long shadows at the edge of the corridor spring to life and slither up to the stone door.
The door becomes engulfed in a writhing cloud of gloom and after only a few moments a muffled 'click' from somewhere in the darkness signals that the stone portal is about to open.
As the shadows retreat, you step back and watch with growing satisfaction as the tall slab of stone swings slowly outward to reveal a small, circular chamber beyond.
Prepared to confront whatever may lie within the chamber, you step boldly into the shadowy room...
Thanks for the tests, by the way.

WoW Joddelle, that is really 'cool' of you to run all your skills and powers like that! I may give that a try the next time I run into a "dud" moment.... try everything even the kitchen sink. hum.... might have to figure out how to make that my tag.

Go to "User CP" (Scroll up to the top of the screen, it will be the first this on the left, under the big green "S") then scroll down the left side of the screen until you get to "Settings & Options". "Edit Signature" will be the 2nd option from the top.

Greetings from 'Down Under'
Normally try not to ask for to much help, but with this particular quest ... The Blood Code ...
I have the Torn Page in my inventory, and various sources tell me that directions for the Murk are in the Action Panel of the screen.
With my Screen Reader I cannot find these at all, therefore....
Wouldst it be possible for someone to post some text directions for me please, I wouldst be truly appreciative...:)
Many Thanx

From where you enter the Murk, you need to go:
East
East
North
East
East
North
North
North
North
East
South
I think. If that doesn't help, maybe somebody else can clarify.
