"Night-night page" - members 'sign-off,' or 'crashing page'

Well, I just had this crazy idea to make a page where forum members can announce 'don't look for me, I'm currently face down on my keyboard, crashed, in a sleep-deprived stupor, comatose, sleeping under a rowan tree on the road to Trithik, oblivious to being robbed...'

Or, more simply put: I cannot keep my eyes open, my brain quit an hour ago - good night, good morning, good day, whatever your time zone, I'm out like a candle...

Or, yeah, just... night-night...

Haha... I used to be... but I think you know why I'm a little wary of being 'spied upon,' Scout... beyond just the idea, or the 'principle' of it... :)

Some things in the past make other things in the present harder to stomach, me less willing to accept...

(And actually, with my habits and usage, that's not the case... or wasn't, till very recently: this machine would be on, and TC or the other constantly logged in, even when I was far away from it, or asleep... So that's even worse, because others might expect me to react, reply, send a PM, when I couldn't possibly... which just leads to hurt feelings, possibly... And there are people (many? most? all?) whose feelings I really don't want to risk hurting, even accidentally. :))

Anyway, I envisioned this thread more as a totally optional, friendly sign-off place for 'end-of-day' good wishes and a friendly, affectionate wave... :)
(The first and only forum, or any online place, where I ever felt that way...)

Well, fear not then, you have company... :) Dear all! Now that you mention, this laptop hasn't been rebooted in at least two weeks now! And I've only even bothered to send it into hibernate mode once or twice - and... I've set it up so that all I'd have to do is fold it shut, in order to initiate that mode...
Hopeless..

Same with being logged in, at least for mods and admins doing routine snooping: I may look as if I am constantly on at times. Heh...

Not to mention I intended and announced being overdue for a crash and burn three - four hours ago... so much for sleeping. One day I'll have a regular schedule... 'whaddaya wanna be when you grow up, TC?' - 'I wanna be a schedule!' :D Nah...
