I just got my QS and decided to go test it out. Went after some goblins and soon got my first 20. Fine and good. A bout later, and after a few rounds into the bout, I killed my opponent with a 20 roll and didn't see the QS record it. I figured it would show up on my next opponent. But it didn't! Is this normal?

Also, do 20s get recorded when using quick combat?

Your QS doesn't record all the 20s you roll (and there's a max of 3 it can hold at one time). And yes, it records in QC.

Ah. You mean that it's completely random which 20 it records? Is there some recognizable pattern to it?

Yes, it's random. And no pattern that I can tell. I once drained all my 20s then did an entire Axepath run but didn't get any 20s. And other times, I've stored two 20s in one fight.

Which 20's the QS saves is completely and infuriatingly random. As just about anything in the game that is purely random.

Yes they are recorded with quick combat and the quickstone allows 20's to repeat sometimes in chain fashion. This is also, to quote Joddelle, "completely and infuriatingly random". Also have you completed "The Shattered Skull" (it's required to access the 20's feature).

Also the quickstone link on the wiki is very informative and there are some other developments on the "quickstone front". Here's the wiki link, http://sryth.wikia.com/wiki/Quickstone and if you obtain a special residence there is an adventure that involves the quickstone and another yet to be revealed and realized power.

Yes, Oldschool, I did finish the Shattered Skull series days ago. As mentioned in the OP I 'Went after some goblins and soon got my first 20'. I've also read the wiki page on the QS numerous times and found it somewhat lacking about the 20s. That news about the special residence adventure involving the QS was welcome indeed, especially the bit about another yet to be revealed and realized power.
