3 leather scroll cases from PGV

Here I go again....

So, how DO you access the pages from the Tome of Forgotten Lore that are in these cases? I've tried everything I can think of, but got nowhere. Is there a trick to it I have yet to learn, or do I have to preform the ritual to get at them?

Any help is appreciated.

Take them to the Silver Crest and use them there in the secret room.

OK, been there (HQ & Tallys'), done that, no effect. Still can't access the scroll cases. What did I miss?

Yes. Defeated the critter in Marl's Wood. But did not preform the ritual.

Wher have I screwed up? And can I fix it?

You also have to look at the DESCRIPTION of the Tome.

You need to complete the ritual which takes 60 in Aracana and Lore (wiki corroborated).

EDIT: And no you haven't screwed anything up provided you still have the Massive Leather Tome from Stoneback which may be undroppable.

Yes the ritual needs to be done before using them.

You need to:
1) perform the ritual in Marls wood.
- this should change your massive leather tome into somthing else
2) take the leather scrolls and the new book to the back room of the Silver Crest HQ and USE the scrolls

3) enjoy some very worthwhile rewards
