I found the mapmaker, healed him, and got the info from him, but I can't seem to find the ruins... Is there a step that I overlooked?

Just yesterday I forgot to equip it XD. Luckily, Xarakk was only a 9+ and I was able to run and equip the Demonscourge XD.

What's you MR with SSL?

I actually use Tallys's Silver Edged Longsword. I did a few quests and got some better equip since my previous time fighting Xarakk (with the wrong equip), but I believe that my MR was 145 or 150 at the time. Current MR is 154.

Nice! Have you gone through Fougbough? There are sevral MR boosts. And with MR 163, Xarakk is 3+.

Unfortunately, I have only explored a bit of Fougbough. Until yesterday, I was still doing quests from the game. I just did my first Tarn run (I still have not done an Ogredom run) last night XD. I'm thinking of doing an Ogredom run later today, but I might as well explore a bit of Fougbough right now ^_^.

Oh darn it................. that's it make me feel real bad :( Plezier's MR is only 126 with the SSL) seems i need some better equipment ................ Oh well will just have to keep plugging away at it I suppose.

Probbaly not Equipment. More likely skills. But, some Tallys gear (Dragongem, fire eye, ect.) has MR boosts, so that might help. And don't forget a shield. If you have simmilar levels (both higher than 50, but both lower than 60 for example) in Weaponry: Bashing and Weaponry: Slashing, Demonscourge should help you. Unless you have realy low regular MR with Demonscourge (lower than 100). A MR of 140 should be enough to have Xarakk green. Or maybe gray.

Are you fighting unarmmed? If you are get Unarmmed Combat. How 'bout your current Equip. Then I and other players can give you advice. Don't forget your AT total, as a visit to Tallys might be in store. (pun intended)

Ahhh not sure what I have changed but when I battled Xarakk earlier he vaired from 3+ to 5+ whilst I was equipped with Demonscourge :D so I gave him a pasting with help from some others but I was lucky enough to finish the demon off although I didn't get any special loot for doing so :(

However I did find all three Iron weapons and got the Finger of Dread. Actually left the combat to get the finger and during the last bits of combat with Xarakk managed to get all three Oynx rings for it .................. so not a bad day so far ;).......................

Then I stumbled into the old man in the market place who demanded my Iron Shards and made them into the Iron disc and I am now in possession od the first part of the Iron wand. Need the other Six bits now.

still only have one Pouch from the forest where I came across the man with the lost horse "Whisper" but Whisper rand from me into the bog and was sucked under ............................ Doh! stupid me never thought of trying telekinisis to rescue it before it was too late .........:o so I don't know if it would have worked or note.

I have a few equipment Ideas to max out your MR. I said no change on the Dragongems, but downgrading the boots to gold-banded and buying the DG helm might be a good Idea.

Unwittingly I believe you have helped me more than you think as I picked up another little trick that I had obviously missed. Will be checking on that in moment:D............ Dad told my that, too. It works with Iakor's too, but you lose SP when you drink after you dip. And I'm not sure if you can then dip your SS weapon.

If you put the Iakor weapons in the fountain the water turns black. If you do trade your Iakor weapon for a SS weapon and put it in the fountain it will clean the fountain.

Been wondering about that with Voltan as he's toting Iakor's Deathblade. Don't want to ask the seemingly obvious but don't wanna assume either - do you also get the bonus to the SSL after trading the Iakor's for the dip?
