OK, so I was fighting my way through the windowless tower in Fougbough when mom needed the 1 working comp. I was in the middle of a fight, and she wasn't going to budge. So, I logged off (thus closing my windows) and came back in a few hours. I logged on and clicked the "continue game" button, and it took me to the begin combat screen. But instead of the begin link, it said Resume this combat.
I would have gotten a screen shot, but I couldn't get it to work.

That's what happens when you close the window in the middle of a fight and leave for a while instead of resuming right away by opening another window. The problem is that - at least the only time I encountered this - clicking on "Resume..." counted as a Normal type attack - which could get you killed...

If I remember correctly, I'm at 94% and it's the windowless tower, so I think I'm safe.

Lucky you. I was either in a PG scenario or a RoI scenario and almost died. Good thing I had spent those 64 ATs on the Quickstone. :)

OOF! :Cringe: At least you didn't die. Oh, and Shadow, could you take a look at the thread I posted in the Dragon cave group please.
EDIT: OK, so I closed out the window, was on here for 5 mins., came back and it acted like I had clicked the link. It was a normal attack, but it killed it :)

No, I mean 64. That was the initial price. Even so it was too high and I hesitated because at the time the bonuses didn't seem that great. In the end I still spent the ATs before the price increased to 72 ATs, and - with all the Quickstone-realted additions - it turned out to be a wise decision.

I'm not sure, but the "promotion" did not last long.

Then again, there were a lot less ATs to go around if you don't donate.
