I just noticed this in Central Tysa:
Central Tysa - The Middle Kingdom
The heart of the Kingdom of Tysa.
Nearby Locations
* The city of Talinus... (info)
* aldmyre.cove(not yet playable)...
* The Moonshore Crossroads... (info)
Looks like the GM is back from his trip. Let the speculation begin.

Darn! You beat me to it!
Looks like we can now move diagonally on the map in addition to this.

New area, and in all likelihood, a completely new story. Or another minor quest like Eastfell.
nevermind, considering the new stuff in Fogbough, it very likely involves the sword of Merzekk.

Speaking of that, the full rime is " Less three eyes to sparkle bright,
A rusted blade to be;
Seek the three beyond all sight,
Set sleeping spirit free;
Path of honour, test of faith,
A trial looms for thee;
Go forth a hero, thrice reborn,
Set sleeping spirit free. "

There've been a few other changes just since Friday. I noticed the start-up screen for characters has been revamped to have more emphasis on "Continue Your Game" option. And Xaran jumped several places in rankings because suddenly his equipment improved, even though he didn't change anything.

Did he compleate the Bowl of Blood?
Oh and On topic, Maybe that's where we'll find the 3rd Gem. Or maybe that's where Merzekk is burried. OK, who's brave enough to ask?

I don't want to ask - I'm quite happy waiting to find out!

For anyone interested, here's the new layout of the central Tysa screen. You can now travel to any of the 4 corners from central Tysa.

That's odd. I've just checked and it's still where it used to be for me - a 'nearby location' outside Trithik.
Has your AG subscription lapsed? It's an AG-only location.

Same here, but I have some unfinished quests.

Do you mean Tallys' place isn't visible for you either? Which quests do you have unfinished?

Sorry I was unclear. I was responding to you and meant that it IS there for me, but I have unfinished quests, so if there's a quest that makes him temporarily unavailable (for whatever reason) I wouldn't be able to tell.

Ahhhh Ha it's back again for me at least. No AG has not lapsed but it was not on the list. I am wondering if it's something to do with the changes being made and the new additions.
I am still working through the Iron Dragon Lair, the Ice Cave for the shield and the outer reaches of Fogbough only have found one pouch so far. plus I have no gems for my Bowl of Blood as so far I have not found the temple in the LoO all I get is some XP's unless I get killed which has happened twice now :o.
I have even resorted to going back to tarn for XP's, the Stone Arch helps in that respect a LOT :D
I can visit Tally's to answer Thingirl's question :p

I mean't if your willing to donate to the game. But I think I already posted the table I was working on (Check your Tarramyre thread). And it would confuse a lot less people if you responded to my PM with another PM.
And I have completed everything (except whatever is discussed in the new update- I haven't read that) and can visit Tallys. You can only assess the cottage if you have 1 or more of his items.

I have my fingers crossed that this nautical-sounding location provides another use for the Seamanship skill! I leveled it up ages ago, fancying my character a swashbuckler, only to have no use for it for over a year.

Well, it adds to (a very small amount of) some rolls.

Yep. My character, Marissa, is a Master Seafarer. And there's no use for that skill. Hopefully that'll change here.

Maybe it'll provide an (extremely risky) alternative way to get to Saarngard Isle. For those of you who can't see the map (or are too lazy to look it up): Tallinus' hex borders the lowest hex for the Saarn Split.

Yes, but according to the expanded info, the saarn split has such a reputation for being dangerous that Talinus's docks are more often than not passed over in exchange for Phak-Rur or Port Hallik.

But I'm an adventurer. I want (RP) danger. (So the botle doesn't work. You could at least tell me that) Maybe Pyrond will be supected dead in Trithik and I'll be thrown out of Trynd Keep and the Saarn Split will be the only was for me to get to Saarngard.

You're forgetting that he was killed while on Sarngard posing as a mercinary...assuming of course that the news we received was true.

Ahhh I seem to recall at least places where the Seafaring skill would have been useful and was asked for:-
Getting to the Island in that lake on the Isle of Saanguard
And in PGV1 whne leaving the isle with you companion bound for the ship in very ;) choppy seas.
As for the rest well :confused: ................................... we will just have to wait and see how it pans out :cool:.

In Murk2, Seamanship*1 is added to your roll to avoid the sea monster. Although, that is a roll you want to fail, because you get ~33 combat XP for defeating it, but you don't get anything if you pass.

Yes, but which one, exactly? Since there are at least three differnet sides in regards to Saarngard...

Random thought, I had a song running through my head, and now I'm youtubing it because of your post. The title is "Wait and See" by Brandon Heath.
EDIT: Shadow, I type rely slow. Let's see there's us, Mazembak, and the leader of Kardsen. Am I right?
