Platnium star coins

can anyone please lead my in the direction of my last two star coins the owl is now dead and i still have to to go. Please help.

As this is a question which has come up more than once on the old forum, here's the location of the five platinum star coins you can obtain so far:

One from PGV
One after you kill the Bellowing Kultaag Warrior at the Dusk Dragon Carcass in the Jagged Hills
One from the sorceress in the Jagged Hills
One from the underground lair in the Tangled Bog
One from Owl in The Dungeons of Saarngard

Hmmmm I am not sure if I have found the Tangled Bog, I seem to recall it but it may have been lost in the re-start................. no not my idea :(.

I also seem to have lost the stone tablet :o that I need to hand to Thane Pyrond on Saanguard Isle either that or I cannot find it by exploration :confused: because despite searching for several days I am just getting the pretty normal goblins to kill along with the odd strange creature.

So far i have 3 Platinium coins. These I have done:-

One from PGV

But the Tangled Bog ................. Hmmmm that is the question that I don't know the answer to :(.

The tablet is from exploring Saarngard Keep. You need to show it to Thane Pyrond. That is one of the requirements before he will tell you about the Tangled Bog.

Surely the Tablet is from the secret room and the snake mean are grouped around it in an alcove?

I stole it from them using telekineses yet I cannot find it in my inventory :(.

Ahhh Ha your right I found it in my storage room and took it to the isle showed it to Thane Pyrond who told me to explore the Jagged Hills lookign for a soceress. I did so with no luck so i visited Thane Pyrond again in West Camp and he has now told me about the Bog :rolleyes:


So progress is beign made on the Isle at last.

I will have to get back to it later as I have to go and talk to someone about a conservatory repair

Hmmm I got the Platinum Coin from the owl without killing him and that leads to another task/quest/adventure it seems as The Owl asks you for your aid in a little matter ;)

We will ahve to see how it pans out. Meanwhile I will run through it again trying a different way to see if the result changes.

No, I didn't. I'm speaking from memory here, but in the Dungeons of Saarngard adventure there was no way to kill him, and even without having played the new PG I'm willing to bet there's no way to kill him before the scenario where he...

And that proves that the GM has all the scenarios written and he's just not posting them, 'cuz you told yourself not to go back in like, scenario 1.

now I will going to re-do the Dungeon in a few moments. Meanwhile I did my daily run of the ice cave. Missed it yesteday as I was tied up with things in the real world ............... Doh! Oh I used the Dragon Fire wand on the Frozen Ogre :D melted him in one go ...........LOL

And I just had my first go at the Archery Tournament :p

Oh in the Archery 2081 although when I looked my score was not showing :(

I scored 758 for targets 1 & 2 and 565 on target #3 for a score of 2,081.

After you do it, save in the sheltered hollow (it doesn't matter where you cave, I just said that for convince). And go back and you should be showing. If not, wait a little longer.

yep it showed up, must have been a bit of lag on the server?, anyway I have now had my 3rd attempt and got a slightly better score but have actually dropped in the ranking s to 61st .............Boo Hoo with an improved score of 2160. Would ahve done more but our Intenet cannection failed .........YET AGAIN :mad: and only got it back working with tech supports help this morning.

A long way off the lead :o and my Archery stat is 75 which it says gives me maximum bonus :confused: ........... Oh well it's all in the game ;).
