View Full Version : Dr. Magical

I know it's been a very long time since the last such update, and I'm very sorry to have disappointed all my fans. (*waves to all 3 of you*)

Anyway, to cut straight to the point,

Restoration - use train
Mastery: 100 - Legendary

Why? Coz a certain other player (*holds his nose*) had to go and level his power to level 96.

But yes, Magical is now a Legendary Healer, hence the title of the post.

And now my grinding is going to be slower than ever. :(

Dr. Havoc, your're also good at fixing avatars for people. And I'm wondering when you estimate you'll get the remaining 5 powers to 100? Repped.

Congrats Havoc. I guess if I want to get a power to level 100 that you don't already have I will have to be sneaky about it.

Or enter into a conspiracy to raise certain powers in a domino effect causing the good doctor to burn up all his reserves. By the way Havoc, how much general xp does Magical have? ;)

There's a reason he covered up his stats in the Screen shot he sent to the GM.

Noticed that, too, did you? :)

He also covered his gold.

A belated congrats to Sryth's grinding extraordinaire (despite his reduced playing time). Getting Destruction to lvl 100 by doing pre-replayable grinding (spider caves, gem shards, etc.) will never be overtaken as pure, mean, die-hard, hardcore, and "deplorable" grinding.

Ditto and thanks for putting that in perspective for most of the rest of us. Also, I'm betting (and I seem to recall some old posts to back this up) Magical's xp bonuses aren't as generous as those that most of us "younger" players enjoy.

I'm tired of these calumnies. Which is why I've now put up an unedited screenshot in that other thread.

Sorry and excuse my poor attempt at humor. Truly no offense intended as it wasn't a smear or even a backhanded compliment. Again I'm sorry you perceived it as such.

Not an excuse but just for the record that post was made prior to my viewing the thread/your post with the mentioned screenshot.

Don't worry, I'm not offended. Sorry if it appeared that way. :)

I was going for theatrical.

Sooo, I probably should not tell you which power I am trying to get to 100 next, then, hmmm?

Actually, awesome job, way to go, rep on the way.

I'm not even close to getting anything to 100.

funny thing... I'd been cogitating on the possibility that Kestrall's threat to your status might spur you into action... turns out the catalyst was me.

And somewhere in the lurksome back of my mind was the possibility I might get one over you... gazumped again!

Congrats on gaining your latest legendary power.

Don't feel so bad, Havoc gazumped me on Elementalism too, and it appears that Jodelle has gazumped us on the rest of the remaining powers

I believe that I will let Mr. Stench to answer that one since it is his word.

After looking at the happy Bday thread, I want to know what dobbed means too.

Me too!

I can do 'gazumped' though - means sneakily getting there first. Used in the UK housing market for when you put in an offer on a house but then the seller goes over your head to another buyer.

Ahh. I hate real estate.

Gazumped is a term originally used in the real estate industry to explain the unfair practice of raising the price on a house after a potential buyer has already agreed to the advertised selling price.

The word is now synonymous with being unexpectedly beaten to the finish line, pipped at the post, etc.

When you "dob someone in", you are "spilling the beans", "blabbing a secret", "being a narc"... this must be an Aussie/ Kiwi coloquialism

I figured that "dobbing someone in" meant "spilling the beans". THX, repped.
