OK, if that insulted you, I'm sorry. But rely, Mirinor is dead, no question about that, but Pyrond is alive somewhere and will help in the defeat of the dude in Kardsin.

Remember the meeting he held in his office at the keep. He was talking to a guy about me and you and you and you lol. I'm suspecting the good ole thane isn't the good ole thane. Remember your character suspected him to a bit because he didn't let the thane know he/she heard the conversation from the Thane. He was being a little to secretive I could be wrong but I suspect the good ol thane works for the other side. I know we had this conversation in a post way back when that pg was started and he got killed. I know others think he could be on the other side to. Also remember Thaney doesn't know we recovered the journel either. After hearing the conversation the thane had with that guy your character decided not to tell him he had the book.

This debate has raged for some time...it was ongoing when PGVI began, but has died down some since, well, he died. I don't think he is bad, but like thingirl, I do think he is alive...time will tell.

I think the guy on the sg isle the guy everyone thinks is a mean guy he is like the head guys assistant on sg isle is actually a friend. I can't remember that guys name. the one who warned us during the jousting contest that someone was trying to kill us.

We already know how Pyrond survived. One of the PG 6 scenarios had a vision of a wounded man crawling along the ground and putting a wooden ring onto the finger of a dead man. Obviously, Pyrond put his Ring of Disguise onto a corpse so the corpse would be taken for him. So yes, Mirinor is officially dead, but Pyrond isn't.

As to which side he's on, it's hard to say... I think there are more sides involved than we know about. But he's never been anything but a good friend to our characters, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

My hunch is that the Thane is alive and well. In fact the person who hit me on the shoulder in the last PG scenario gave me a feeling that it was Pyrond.

The events at the start of the PG or the Isle where Pyrond is talking to someone else about us raise doubts. But we all know the GM's mastery of cloak and dagger writing tactics. Heck, we have 5 platinum star coins, 3 journals, a bunch of ravenbone, and we're in another kingdom not knowing what will hit us (or what we'll hit) next.

The GM is a master of suspense!

Personally I think the Thane, if he is indeed alive, is on our side, but due to the sensitive nature of the mission he has to keep certain things from us. We have, after all, been the victim of several fairly powerful psyonic attacks that night have laid bare all his devices if they'd succeeded. It's possible that the Thane is on our side but that the person he was talking to might not be, but he himself could be unaware of the fact.

Ohhhhhh some of you trust the Thane to much. I think your in for a very big surprise lol. If the Thane is on our side I'll give you my... scratch that its to risky in this game. The GM can be tricky. I got a feeling on this one he is Not your friend lol. The other dude who warned us about being killed in the jousting contest is our our friend. Oh what a tangled web we weave if at first we attempt to deceive. lol.
