Who was that masked man, kemosabe?

With that, wondering how a man wearing a green mask can hope to remain inconspicuous, you turn and prepare to set off on your way.
Lol ... that had me smiling. And not a bad reward for day 1.

Not sure if he's different for each character or just moves fast. At first I thought it was completely different for each character as my first three had him at three different locations but the fourth had him at the same place as the third.
Still too early to say but with four characters I should be able to pin it down after a few more "days". And we should know in about an hour and a quarter if a "day" is based upon server day or not.
That green mask has me wondering if an old nemesis might already be in town waiting for Halloween.
And a some very early prediction speculating. I'm thinking we may turn those cubes in for other rewards particularly ATs. And from the text about getting seen together maybe there's a limit to how many cubes one can get.

I hope it is indeed based on server days, staying up this late and affecting my work schedule, or sleep and miss a Black cube...He starts numbering the sides, playing a nice game of dice... er... die...

Yup it's at server reset and the guy moves really fast. He was at Trithik and when I got there he had gone to Tryndmoor
As during your first encounter, the stranger begins speaking, but his words, muffled by the thick, green cloth mask that covers his face, emerge as little more than a garbled string of unintelligible sounds.
He quickly reaches up and adjusts his mask.
"Again we meet, Kaizer," he says, his voice somewhat more clear, though still muffled. "Here is what I've promised you -- the second of the black cubes. Mind you, however, that this one came at a rather steep cost..."
The masked man holds up his right arm, clad in the thick sleeve of his bulky tunic, and you involuntarily gasp in shock -- his hand is missing!
The stranger shakes his right arm and the over-sized sleeve falls back along his forearm, revealing his 'missing' hand to be tightly clutching a coin-filled pouch.
"Five hundred gold is precisely what it cost," he says in his muffled, but familiar voice. "But pay no mind to any of that. I may not be a man of endless means, but those who set me upon this mission have more than their share of...well, never mind any of that. Here, take this one and protect it as you have the other!"
He promptly hands you a small, black stone cube.
ITEM You've acquired: Black Stone Cube
"No questions, now," he says, suddenly glancing about nervously. "Visit me again tomorrow, my friend. I may be here, or I may be elsewhere. I've no worries about your ability to find me. Until then, keep your eyes open and take care!"
* Please continue...
You turn to leave, but the masked man suddenly steps forward and places his hand on your shoulder. A series of painful jolts surge through your body, leaving you breathless and light-headed.
As the masked man withdraws his hand and steps back and your head clears, you feel somehow...different.
XP +1,024 You've been awarded a total of 1,024 Experience...
1,024 xp applied to general...
XP +512 You've been awarded 512 Experience...
512 xp applied to All Skills and Powers...
"Again, I nearly forgot that part. There, now that wasn't quite as bad as the last time, was it?" he asks, his muffled voice once again barely intelligible. "I'm getting better at these sorts of things as I go along. I'll see you again tomorrow, Kaizer, and not a moment sooner. So far, we've managed to avoid detection, but that does not yet move us out of the danger that surrounds us! Remain on your guard...and keep those cubes safe!"
You bid the masked man farewell and then turn and set off on your way.
After taking only a few steps, you glance back over your shoulder, only to discover that there is no longer any sign of the green-masked stranger.
Be sure to seek out the masked stranger again tomorrow. He may be in another spot. The Adventure Finder will always detail his current location.

He's fast. This time he wasn't ever in the same place twice successively. Port Halik, Trithik, Port Halik then Tryndmoor - and I only ran that content. Does seem like a *SAFE* location each time though.
And.......... the rewards so far are doubling. :D

Oddly enough, for me he was in Port Hallik twice in a row. I even met the GL twice today - a very nice (and overdue) boost in AS&P.
We'll see what tomorrow brings. My adventurer ranking has fallen a few places due to hoarding general xp, of which by tomorrow I'll have a new personal record (and I guess one every day thereafter). However, the AS&P boost got four powers raised and boosted my ranking up 2. Since most of my skills are close to the raising point as well with a few more AS&P rewards, I should have a nice rise in rank over the next few days.

I missed him on Sunday 9/12 so I'm already a day behind.
Scout and Ulric got him in the same city while Allura and Arabel had 2 other cities all in the time it took for all 4 to do their CHR run and go see him.
He sure is quick!!!

I'm a day behind as well, since he hadn't shown up by the time I logged off and went to bed yesterday. I'm hoping there are just a set number of encounters so that those of us who are a bit chronologically disadvantaged can catch up...

If the specific xp reward increases by increments of 256 daily, and with 17 days in September since the start of this encounter, we're looking at 39K+ specific xp. Too good to be true; but hey, one can dream!

Well Ehlana's a day ahead of Marissa since she encountered the masked fellow first whilst doing the Shattered Skull series in Trithik. Of course immediately upon acquiring a cube I saved and got Mariass over to Trithik since that's where I'd seen him first. Needless to say he wasn't there. Now I just wish it had occurred to me to check the very top of the Adventure Finder page or I'd have realized what was going on. I was half afraid that once one character got started the others couldn't participate, always assuming you had more than one character on your account. Hopefully Marissa will be able to stay fairly close behind Ehlana...

I think his location may be randomly generated each session; I logged in with three characters in quick succession (as in, signed in, got the reward, saved and loaded the next character) both last night and today. Result: five separate locations.
Any takers?

That would be nice :). If the XP progression keeps up like that even one day less would have quite the impact. On the other hand we have yet to see if it is just +215 every day or double.
Do we know for sure how long it is going to last? Every day till the end of September seems quite a lot

If possible I'll be here, in this very spot, though events beyond my small sphere of control may dictate that I change the location of our rendezvous. I trust you'll find me, though, wherever it is I make my appearance. Until tomorrow, take care!"

Nice and the rewards aren't doubling. So far they're set the same each time. While the rewards are sweet since they're not doubling each time there will probably more total cubes that way. And if someone misses a day it won't be nowhere near as big a loss as if the rewards did double.

Looks like +512 General XP and +256 AS&P XP each day, plus a cube.
I still think my seven-day prediction (six cubes plus an adventure) may prove accurate.
The nice thing is that tomorrow's AS&P award will let me raise 8 or so skills. I think I even have enough general xp to get my first legendary skill, although I don't know if I want to blow nearly 400,000 XP to get it right now. Anyway, I'll wait until the end of AAM to decide.

Just completed the second-day run, he was in Tryndmoor for my three characters.
Does nobody else find odd the fact we can't understand his speech until he adjusts his mask? I'm currently picturing him as a member of another race/species with an entirely different language, and the green mask being a kind of magical translator that needs to be tuned up to match us. Or I might be over-imaginative. Or both. :p

I too was missing Shadow Magic, and decided this event was worth it to finally go get it. Ran through PG5 up until I got Shadow Magic for each character, and went to finish Four Days for Horsemanship (might as well) last night before searching for the masked man. I held off on those quests since my stats were all around 82MR, 98SP, 30NV, but Quickstone heals and just a couple BOPs got me through without dying. So I think it's pretty do-able to get that last power before this month's finale, and especially worth it with my day 4 rewards...

Final Cube.
As during your previous encounters, the stranger begins speaking, but his words, muffled by the thick, green cloth mask that covers his face, emerge as little more than a garbled string of unintelligible sounds.
Grumbling, he reaches up and adjusts his mask.
"Here is the fifth and final cube, Kaizer," he says, still fiddling with his mask. "You now have what you will need. Keep them safe! I wish to meet with you again, perhaps in a day or two, so that I can give you something else...something I've yet to acquire. Then, the quest of the cubes will begin."
He promptly hands you a small, black stone cube.

You bid the masked man farewell before turning and setting off on your way.
After taking only a few steps, you glance back over your shoulder, only to discover that there is no longer any sign of the green-masked stranger.

As during your five previous encounters, the stranger begins speaking, but his words, muffled by the thick, green cloth mask that covers his face, emerge as little more than a garbled string of unintelligible sounds.
He promptly reaches up and adjusts his mask.
"Well met again, Kaizer," he says, his voice still muffled. "I pray that you still have the five cubes? That is good! Give them to me, if you will, and we shall prepare to embark on the next leg of this business."
Seeing no reason to object to his request, you hand him the five cubes. He thanks you and places the cubes in a small leather pouch. After cinching the top of the bag, he gives the pouch a shake. Then, he reopens the bag and spills the cubes back into your hands.
The cubes seem unchanged. Before you can ask anything about what has just occurred, the masked man curses and snatches back the five cubes. He tosses them back into the pouch and proceeds to shake the bag for nearly a minute.
Suddenly, he loosens the string cinching the top of the pouch and again spills the bag's familiar contents into your waiting hands.
This time, you immediately note that all of the black cubes are now emblazoned with a silver mark on each of their six sides. Each cube is marked with the silver likeness of a different weapon -- a sword, an axe, a hammer, a bow, and a spear.
* Please continue...
"There you are," he says, leaning forward to examine the five cubes lying in the palm of your hand. "The next part of this business is upon us, my fearless friend. You must take these marked cubes and seek out a similarly-marked rock in a place called Bentlimb Wood. Know of such a place? Good, because I haven't even the slightest notion where that would be."
As you tumble the five cubes in your hand, you ask the masked stranger what it is you're supposed to do when you find the marked rock in Bentlimb Wood.
"Ah, yes, and there lies just a bit of the difficulty, you see," he says. "On that point I must admit that I'm not entirely certain. The rock will bear the markings that are on the cubes. There is, I am told, an object you will find there. You must return it to me. I wish that I could tell you more about all of this, but we are now reaching a point in these events in which you and I are at the mercy of the discretion of my betters. Of course, that is not entirely a terrible thing. They are wise beyond reckoning, and have only your interests and well-being at heart."
* Please continue...
Realizing that you're not likely to get any further useful information out of him, you tell the masked man that you will seek out the rock in Bentlimb Wood and will bring to him whatever you find there.
"I've no doubt you will succeed," he says. "Mind you, Kaizer, that it would be unwise to tarry about. There are others who are moving along paths similar to yours, seeking the same end, though perhaps by different means. As yet, you still retain an advantage over the rest. Go now, quickly, and return to me with as much haste as you can safely employ."
You glance down at the five cubes resting in the palm of your hand and wonder what it is you will undoubtedly find in Bentlimb Wood -- and what purpose the small, black stone squares will ultimately serve. A question suddenly enters your mind, but as you look up to pose it to masked stranger, you're shocked to discover he is nowhere to be seen!
Realizing that your only viable option is to travel to Bentlimb Wood and begin your search for the 'marked' rock, you prepare to set out at once for the distant woodland.
To search for the 'marked' rock, travel to Hawklor and look for Bentlimb Wood under Nearby Locations.

I've just started the Engraved Rock part of this and just finished my first encounter.
While there may be "shadow" type creatures in earlier encounters (one of the PGs for one) as far as I know there's no positive confirmation one way or another.
However when I ran across my first foe I equipped Trielra's Staff and,
Trielra's Staff (+11 MR) vs. this enemy.
these shadow creatures are the Shadow creature types that Trielra's Staff gives the +11 specific bonus against.

Dariel did you get any indication that you cleared the underground lair?
EDIT: Just finished this scenario and after a bunch of encounters they didn't seem to be progressing as I didn't get any indication at all through text, combat xp, etc..... So I decided to leave at which time I couldn't being blocked by creatures matching the die engravings. Pretty nice combat xp and rewards for defeating them. After defeating them you still can't leave till you get the pouch. Unknown if there is a limit to the undergound encounters before you try to leave. I never got any hint about leaving I just decided to try it. For Hawk the combat xp was pretty minimal so staying and fighting isn't a viable option from an xp standpoint imo. Some nice rewards for finishing the scenario but not on par with what we were getting for the cubes - at least yet.
EDIT: Also you can freely leave and come back until you trigger the final encounter on attempting to exit which is what's required to get the pouch. To trigger the final encounter you need to visit each corner and the upper center corridor (one north of center) where the weapon image shadows appear.

Aw come on, Oldschool, I was going to drop a hint about
Hotel California, if someone got stuck in figuring out how to get the pouch

I'm getting good combat xp from the random dungon battles, so as long as I don't encounter all 5 forms of the weapons, and as I am home all day to watch my new windows and door installed, I plan on grinding them until I get bored.
BTW, I've added everything so far in this thread to the wiki except forgot to save details of the pouch item.
My stats are: MR 81, SP 100, weaponry 50, slashing 50 and getting ~33 XP. Quick combat is easy and safe, and with 30 NV I can restore SP for a while before having to trek back to Hawklor (2sec travel time). EDIT: My newly-acquired Battle Rage may also be helping. Also, MR 82 gives me ~17 XP, and MR 78 ~36 XP.
Oops, I guess there is a limit to the creatures as previously mentioned. So no unlimited fighting for the day.

As during your previous encounters, the stranger begins speaking, but his words, muffled by the thick, green cloth mask that covers his face, emerge as little more than a garbled string of unintelligible sounds.
He quickly reaches up and adjusts his mask.
"I had heard rumours of your demise," he says, the sudden admission catching you off guard. "I'm more glad than you could possibly know to see that you are alive and well. What did you find in Bentlimb Wood?"
You provide the masked man with a quick, but detaile account of your adventure in the hidden forest lair, culminating with the retrieval of the pouch. He asks to see both the pouch and the five black cubes. You promptly hand him all six items.
ITEM You're no longer carrying: Black Stone Cube
"Very interesting," he says, peering into the pouch. "One would expect there to be more sand in there, but no matter. This will address our momentary shortage..."
The masked stranger closes his hand on the five stone cubes resting in his palm. After several seconds, he uncurls his fingers to reveal a small heap of black sand now in the spot where the cubes sat only moments ago. He carefully pours the pile of sand into the pouch.
"We now have enough," he says, handing the pouch back to you. "The last part of our business may now commence."

The masked man tells you that you must take the pouch of black sand to Mirgspil. There, he says, you will be met by one of his associates who will guide you on the proper use of the black sand.
"She will not be in Mirgspil until tomorrow at the very earliest," he says. "It is unlikely you will meet her there before then. Until you have met with her, you must keep the pouch and its contents safe.
You ask the masked stranger how it is you will be able to identify his associate.
"She will know you, Kaizer," he says. "Doesn't everyone?"
http://www.sryth.com/images/misc-spacer.gif
You should pay a visit to Mirgspil tomorrow to see if the masked stranger's associate is waiting for you. http://www.sryth.com/images/misc-spacer.gif

You turn to leave, but the masked man suddenly steps forward and places his hand on your shoulder. A series of painful jolts surges through your body, leaving you breathless and light-headed.
As the masked man withdraws his hand and steps back and your head clears, you feel somehow...different.
XP +3,584 You've been awarded a total of 3,584 Experience...

"Perhaps just once more," he says. "There we are. Seek out my associate in Mirgspil tomorrow. Until then, keep the pouch safe!"
You bid the masked man farewell before turning and setting off on your way.
After taking only a few steps, you glance back over your shoulder, only to discover that there is no longer any sign of the green-masked stranger.

I sent a bug report to the GM:
I killed all the shadow creatures in the dungeon but did not encounter all 5 weapons nor take the pouch as normal. I was still able to encounter the masked stranger and he told me the next step of the adventure in Mirgspil. Going back to the dungeon has some more strange things happen. I couldn't take the pouch even after encountering the 5 weapons, but trying to leave the dungeon triggered the boss fight anyway. The takeaway is that you can trigger the next day's event without killing the bosses in dungeon (not too tough anyway), though you miss out on the rewards.

What was the xp reward in Bentlimb wood "engraved rock" part? I got a 1024-256 end reward. And that has me thinking that I had to kill all the shadow creatures to get a better reward. (I didn't kill all the shadow creatures before attempting to leave).

As you approach the grey-clad woman, she bows and tells you that she has been awaiting your arrival.
"I know your name," she says, "though I'm afraid I cannot reveal mine. I choose not to cover my face, though the practice is common enough amongst my associates. Remaining nameless provides me with more than enough anonymity. I trust you have the pouch of sand?"
You hold up the pouch and are about to hand it to her when she suddenly shakes her head.
"Keep it," she says. "You'll need that for the endeavour you'll soon undertake. Here, keep this, too."
The dark-haired woman casts a wary glance about the bustling street and then hands you a square steel ring. An empty socket adorns each of the thick band's four sides.

"As you've no doubt discerned, you'll need to fill the sockets on that ring," she says. "Unfortunately, I can give you very little help with that...save for pointing you in the right direction. The pouch of sand you possess will open the way, but the rest will fall squarely upon your shoulders. I must say, Kaizer, that a more capable set of shoulders couldn't be hoped for!"
You ask the woman to explain what it is she's referring to with regard to the endeavour to which she has been alluding.
"Not today," she says. "Meet me here again tomorrow, or perhaps the day after that, and I will help you to get underway on the last part of your quest. In fact, we had better not linger here much longer. There are unfriendly gazes abound in this city."
You bid her farewell and tell her that you will seek her out tomorrow or the day after. She nods and tells you to stay safe.

Just as you're about to leave, the dark-haired woman steps toward you and places her hand on your shoulder. A strange, calming sensation washes over you, but rapidly subsides.
Smiling, she withdraws her hand and steps back.

"I'm not about to be outdone by my masked associate," she says, grinning. "He hasn't even mastered the technique that allows for a painless...oh well, never mind. I suppose I shouldn't speak ill of him, however...just between us, Kaizer -- I'd have gathered all of those cubes just a bit faster than he did."
After bidding her farewell, and again promising to meet up with her sometime over the next couple of days, you turn and set off on your way.
After taking only a few steps, you glance back over your shoulder. There, standing in the same spot, watching you depart, is the woman whose name you do not yet know.

Just ran all four characters through full cycles (total 120 or so) and nothing either. Will probably run them all through another partial cycle just to see and to set my explorations at max (see below).
And a tip for folks. Once the cycles/timer resets if your start another cycle and do not use all of your explorations the balance will be applied on the next reset. For example, Hawk's is 29 so if I leave at least 11 remaining on the next reset he'll have the 40 max.
EDIT: This will NOT cause all exploration cycles to max out. Just those that gain unspent explorations from a previous cycle.

Well, It was live as of about 5:30 est, one of my alts got it.
You're standing before a ring of nine waist-high stones, deep in a remote corner of the Old North Wood. Each of the stones bears a single engraving of either a sword, an axe, a spear, a bow, or a hammer.
Recalling the words of the dark-haired woman you met in Mirgspil, you know that you must return here tomorrow and again spill more of the black sand into the centre of the ring of stones.
Move away from here...
But when I tried a bit later with my main Character, well, he's somewhere north of 200 searches, with no luck.

9/20/10 - Adventurer Appreciation Month Fix
Apologies to the many adventures attempting to find the circle of stones in the Old North Wood! A strange glitch made it so that many adventurers could not find the circles of stones while exploring the forest.

64 xp for pouring the sand which results in a battle with a sword wielding opponent. 3+ for Hawk with Trielra's Staff at MR of 213. NICE rewards of 512 general/256 as&p.
And considering this, Each of the stones bears a single engraving of either a sword, an axe, a spear, a bow, or a hammer. we should expect a nice progression. Just wonder how (if is a foregone conclusion for moi) much harder the foes will progress?

Sheara, despite having 64 MR when armed with Goblindoom, was able to defeat the first two Shadow Warriors without using powers (they were 15+ and 16+ for her), and then killed the other three using Necromancy (she had to use a Quickstone heal against the last since she had used all 3 Blessings against one of the earlier warriors). Following her victory and the recovery of the pouch of sand the masked stranger became available for her and she met him, effectively saving her a day and making her just one day behind the rest of my characters instead of 2 days, as she was.
Tomorrow I'm going to edit the related wiki page and fix several inaccuracies.

Not likely unfortunately. But I do hope that's not much longer in coming to us since one of my few pet peeves with Sryth has always been the GM's tendency to announce and then begin new story arcs only to have them cut ff suddenly after a certain number of events and remain incomplete for sometimes years at a stretch. Hint hint. But frustrating as it is it's not enough to cause me to not renew my AG subscription next month, which barring a financial catastrophy I still plan on doing.

I was half-expecting part of the steel ring to be formed after each battle, but maybe it happens all at once at the end of 5 days.

Well Marissa's MR is about 225 and Ehlana's at 144. I'm thinking I should wait till after this quest is over before I try taking Ehlana through the rest of PG VI. She's had about four defeats on Chasom of Time IV alone and several on the prior one, meaning she's now in the 6th order and is probably going to have the so-called Evil Unleri. The Spear-Wielding Warrior is definitely the most annoying and frustrating part of this year's AAM. If you're really unlucky you could lose over 120 NV!
And to think I still have 1 character who has to fight him... Hopefully there will be no more battles once we're done with the five warriors.

Since that seems a currently unattainable NR I'm assuming that the NR attacks continue even if one's NR is completely depleted.
And re: the bow wielding warrior. Keep in mind I usually only run my first character through regular combat for the heads up then if things seem safe I'll QC with the others. He wasn't any different but I did notice a pretty stout special (once 2nd hit for 30'ish) that I haven't seen with the others. But keep in mind I've QC'ed each foe 3 out of 4 times.

Edit: Actually, I think if score round up, I've already got the 25/30 bonuses. The extra spirit point will give me an average of 19 instread of 18.67, but I think it's already rounded up.

I won't spoil it, but the adventure continues for at least the next few days. The possible use of a certain item becomes more apparent.

How about some speculation on the final prize for this year's AAM?
My hunch is that the prize will be:
Glittering Amber Ring that gives a daily reward of 1024 general xp and 512 xp to AS&P.
That would be sweet!!!!!
Any other guesses?

Maybe...
A final xp reward of say 5k general and 1k specific along with around 16 AT?Considering the XP we've gotten so far I think 16 AT is great :P

Elrond my friend your dreaming lol. I'd love to get exp from a ring every day. However somehow I highly doubt it. I'd say at least 32 at's proably more plus exp points plus the ring wll give us some mr+sp+nvr

I'm on with Billy about the ATs especially since [DEJINXED POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING] the GM is a kindly benefactor in light of the approach of the ToA.
If the ring stays as an item it would make the fourth really nice "free" ring and complete the set so to speak.

After today's rendezvous, here are the updates:
All four of the ring's sockets are fitted with glittering, amber-coloured gems..
The xp reward is 1280 general xp and 640 xp to AS&P after "twisting" the ring.
And there is another rendezvous in Sageholt tomorrow or the day after to trigger the "Glittering Cave."

Could be Texlaw hadn't considered that actually. Although the Glittering Cave got me wondering about someone/thing wanting an item or two back. As in Glittering Ice Shield or Glittering Long Knife.
And a wiki check just confirmed that the Hale Blade and Axe of Bramble glitters.
Well sounds like I'll have a day or so to let my imagination run wild.

Well the Hale Blade I could get but I sold the Glittering Long Knife ages ago. And there's no way I'm giving up the Glittering Ice Shield unless in exchange I get enough ATS to cover the cost of the Coiled Serpent Shield and still have enough left for the Tome.

Andras it should be a "return to a previously discovered location" in Bentlimb.
It disappears after you complete the scenario. Maybe if you left before completing it you hit a glitch/bug causing it to disappear.

I dont know what happened--I must have stupidly forgot to save--I'm back to the "fourth gem" bit--hopefully I get the cave tomorrow.
Hmm...
Found the cave, walked around ad naseum, used the ring on all the "?'s."
Nothing.
What blatantly obvious thing am I missing?

You need to EQUIP the ring.
I had it on when using it - also tried to use while not wearing it. Nada.
I did go back to Talinus and save before entering the cave and changed the ring distribution. Ill try putting it back to original settings and and entering again.
Lucky me - I may have found a glitch.
EDIT: Reset the ring to 3/3/3 and reentered with it equipped, using it on each of the ?'s. Got the "no particular use" message on everything but the pedestal - no effect at all there. Screen just flashes and resets.
Oldschool
09-30-2010, 03:58 PM
Silk once you have the ring completed and equipped going through the cave should take care of itself with the ?'s. Once you've gotten all them leaving should take care of the rest.
For what it's worth, I also saved in Talinus and changed the configuration on the ring with Hawk before I tried the cave. Didn't with the alts as I went straight to the cave.
Sounds like you may have indeed hit a glitch. Probably won't help and you may have already done this but it can't hurt if you haven't. Since you've already saved log completely off the game and back on then try it.
Although the announcement says once you start it you'll be locked in and able to finish I wonder if the GM may have inadvertently turned something off since the deadline's passed.
Good luck.

Nice rewards. And just in time for me to renew my AG subscription tomorrow. Admittedly it took me about ten minutes to figure out the deal with the shadows that kept appearing. And it didn't help that the item, which I'd had equipped since the first encounter with Mask Boy, was suddenly unequipped when I went to the cave.
Got it worked out - no glitch.

Yeah. It just means you can't progress. Like I said it took me about ten minutes to figure it out. I went from playing Final Fantasy IV Advance with my fiance to playing Sryth after she left. LOL. The reward was nice. And since I haven't cashed in on a QS bonus for the last three months apparently I've got close to 60K on top of the 7K or so I have now. Craziness. LOL. I sent a bug report to the GM concerning the availability of these scenarios. I was late starting one of my alts but I did start him on the scenarios before the 9/28/10 deadline and he is stuck with Black Stone Cube X 4 with no masked man showing in the adventure finder.
Edit: Wow! The GM emailed me and said he fixed the issue before I was done typing the above post. Gotta love that!
Edit 2: Sadly the issue wasn't resolved and I sent him another email.

Yeah, I was in the same situation. The masked man is still out there, I accidentally ran into him with one of my alts, which really confused me, because it was not in the adventure finder. So he's available, if you feel like just hunting around until you find him on your own . . .

Unfortunately you're wrong - the 90 days DOES apply. HOWEVER - and it has been like that since the beginning, I believe - days with 0 XP are NOT counted towards the 90 days. I think the GM had explained that in a past installment of "Questions for the GM".

I finally finished the AAM quests for all three of my characters just today. Although I normally ran all three of them each day I logged in, Kermit ended up a day ahead of the other two somehow. I think I may have been so sleepy one night that I forgot to run the other two after I did Kermit.
I've used a little of the XP for rank advancement, but I'm saving the rest for the Tattered Wolf thingy (when I finally get the last few parts from Phak-Rur) and the Tome of Attainment (when it finally arrives).

Hi, based on feedback from players (yours included, of course) I will be making the Adventurer Appreciation Month scenario available for completion for those characters that have already made progress in it.
It will become available again over the next few days and will be announced so players will know when they can continue it.
As always, all the best, and thanks again for the feedback.
