What am I supposed to do with those two levers? I havn't found any clues yet. I'd experiment but I can't even progress further in this dungeon until my Quickstone recharges tomorrow. It takes me one at least one Quickstone use to beat each construct. They have INSANE SP and keep dropping those -30 Specials on me nonstop.

Have a look at the paintings, or carvings, or whatever they were - there's a hint about the position of the levers.

And good luck with the constructs. They really aren't that hard - except when they use the special that increases their MR, which could potentially make them from 3+ into 18+ (I know from personal experience).

If the're too dangerous, then you might want to wait a while.

Well at this point, there's no way for me to get my MR higher than it is. I can't afford to buy enough ATs for any of the high MR Weapons or Armor at Tallys's. I've already got the upgraded Shimmering longsword and both Weaponry and Weaponry: Slashing at 70(Where according to the wiki, they cap off in terms of MR Bonus). The only way to get higher MR for me now is Unarmed fighting, but I hav'nt got nearly enough XP to raise that more than five more levels, and doing so would only give me 4 more MR, and completely wipe out my XP.

As far as I know I have the best in-game "free" equipment available to an Adventurer and my MR is currently stuck at about 104 with Shimmering longsword. 107 Unarmed. My powers are all in the low 60s. I can't even begin to imagine how people ever get enough XP to raise powers to 70(Where most of the quests I havn't done yet require them to be), or manage to get their MRs into the 130 and higher range( where most of the quests I havn't yet done require MR to be.)

And I started the game with the highest possible default level of MR. Sheesh.

You will get +2 to your MR once you get your weaponry to level 80. You also get a +2 to your MR once you get yor slashing to level 80. You will get the same bonus (+2 to MR for both skills) once you get to level 90. Your MR will get a +4 once you get your weaponry to level 100, and you will get another +4 to MR once your slashing gets to level 100. So in short when you get both skills to level 80 your MR will go up 4, and will go up 4 more once you get both skills to level 90. When you get both skills to level 100 your MR will go up by 8. That is a total of +16 to MR once weapnry & slashing are at level 100.

The Ice shield will help you with your MR. And the answer to your XP question: grind, grind, grind, and possable spend gen. XP.

RedFear, what's your character name? We might be able to make some suggestions if we could have a look at your profile. It would also help to know roughly which adventures you've completed.

I'd like to know where on the wiki you read this?

Depending on your magic XP bonus, you should be able to get Shadow Magic close to or even to 70 just from the experience you get during and after PG V. As long as your SM is over 70, you should be okay to complete the 70+ power quests. That's how most of my characters have done it.

I know this may be a little cheesy and a tad tedious, but save your game in saarngard keep after each construct battle. This is a one time quest so when you come back from saarngard keep the construct you just defeated is no longer there.
