Hi All,
I tried to store some gold in my residence in Trynd Keep but instead of storing it it took it all out and now I cannot store any Gold anywhere it seems:confused: It's not as if I have a fortune only 55,000 gold which I believe is just enough to purchase the skill of unarmed combat which I don't have as yet :o.
Is it not possible to store Gold now?

Well, I heard something about some things needing smoothing out while the gold cap was implemented.

It is no longer possible to store gold. The GM is getting ready to implement a gold cap of 1 million gold tokens.

But, on the bright side, trainning no longer costs gold! Yippie! :D:D:D

As long as the GM doesn't introduce highway robbery and thievery against players to the game, I don't mind carrying my gold around.

I would just knock off some heads. And if you don't carry around your gold, you can't spend it.

Who cares? We're all like the strongest warriors in the game, so let any highway robber come, and like thingirl said, I'll gut him.

True; but I'm sure that the GM would find a way to implement this if he wanted to. It is within his "powers" to do so :)

Maybe if you have to make a random roll when ever you use your coachman and if you fail, you have to fight.

Already done, though now toned down. "A Midday Encounter" In Trithik used to lose you all the gold you had in the pickpocket attempt that started it.

Hmmm I stored my Gold whilst saving up for the next item or skill. Looks like it nearly time to go and purchase Unarmed combat then ;)
Edit:-
Hmmm changed my mind and acquired Diplomacy instead!

You might be able to restrain yourself form spenting it. And you can most skills without using the AC.

Hmmm well so far I have not found anywhere I can get unarmed combat for free, likewise with diplomacy :(. I have already trained up Diplomacy to level 68 but have now got to go and earn more XP's. Also need to earn more Gold to replace what I spent on Diplomacy. I am hoping once I get it to level 70 it will save me some AT's and Gold in future transations.
Meanwhile I only just over half way to obtaining the Ice Shield so later on I will need to be doing a Tarn run or two plus the battle ground challanges however that will have to wait until I get back from the village.

If the following skills are not chosen at start up, you will have to buy them from the AC:
Unarmed Combat
Thievery
Diplomacy
One of either Arcana or Lore
Weaponry: Staves (Note, staves can't be chosen at satart up.)

I think that is what some of us get when folks talk about trading in ATs for xp or gold.

Isn't that what we got during the Christmas special?

Who knew that using spellcheck while not paying attention could start such a lively talk?
