baleward castle doors

I've been trying to get through baleward castle, but those doors with like 700 SP and 17+ to hit at 158 always get me. Does anyone have any advice for getting through?

argh...feel like an idiot, now, I forgot to equip the baleward seal.

Don't worry, I did the same thing at first. I tried different skills and powers on the doors too :)

What's interesting is that the oak throne restored SP a few times (after the bridge and in between door fights) before the 128 bonus when I was sustaining damage without the seal on. In my second run, wearing the seal, the throne did nothing except for the 128 experience points after I sat on it a few times.
