Does anyone think there is any chance that any additional permanent stat boosting items might appear in the game, ever? I'm just curious.
I didn't do the awesomest job ever rolling my initial stats, though I did OK. I'm hesitant to start a new character, so for now I'll probably just deal with it.
Here's hoping the next auction is for Elixir of Torrents! :)

If I remember right, even if you boost stats the bonus is set in stone, the only real reason to change it is so get easier rolls on some encounters.
I might be wrong but I think this was the case. But as long as your bonuses are 20%> there shouldn't really be a problem unless you're really into grinding.

a permanent boost will in fact change your xp bonus
at the moment, only the Elixir of the Torrent does this.
Apparently, back in the dark ages of Sryth, there was another potion you could get by trading your hammertonuge flask. It did the same thing as the elixir, but only gave a 1-point increase.

Actually no, that wasn't how you could get that potion. It is true that you could give your flask of Hammertongue to Hawnley-Jakk, but he didn't give you anything but called you a friend. To get hte potion you spoke of you had to explore the foothills of the Felrundin mountains until you found a strange pool. You just filled the small flask you could get from just about any marketplace at this pool. Since it was a safe location you could reload until you got the stat increase you wanted. But as I recall there was a bug with that and so it was removed and just never put back in. I remember those days. I've been playing Sryth for five years this October, and that was how things were still done back then, way before the travel system or even the AG. That was back when you had to purchase each individual adventure for two to three bucks.

I thought that only stoneback needed to be paid for?

Yes that's true, but at the time that's how things were done. If he hadn't come up with the AG subscription any future adventures would have needed to be purchased. As it was anyone who purchased Stoneback Hill got three or four bucks off their first AG subscription purchase.

Zedalion, restart your character with the best stats you can. It will save you months of playing time down the road. You're still in the early stages and can afford it.

I agree with Elrond. If I knew in the beginning what I know now, Scout would have had a lot better stats. Restarting now will make it a lot easier later.

Good point.
I have thought about restarting either Allura or Arabel but think about the limited time rewards that they both have.
