You spend a considerable amount of time roaming through the hills and fields of Westwold, ever-wary for danger in this beautiful, but remote area.
You wander about for the better part of a day but don't discover anything particularly noteworthy.
Dang! Sometimes I miss those old places in Sryth where adventure memories just won't go away. Strange as it may seem, I cannot forget the elation of beating Blalak the first time and then wielding his 2-H sword for a couple of adventures!

Another reason for starting a secondary character. ;)

Shouldn't we be petitioning Havoc to do that? ;)

"I can get my MR up to 70 now! Maybe I can beat Thofyra now!"
Long gone. Even my alts can pretty much up their MR to 80 from the get go. Those first adventures just stick with you.

Dude, I was ecstatic when I beat Thofyra! I thought that he was going to hire me to do a job for the king when I first read his comment after losing to me. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for his mysterious friend to seek my services :)

I remember the days when in order to even access Westwold you had to visit Baomor. In those days you could do that before you even won the Hammertongue challenge, but if you did that and came back later he'd be gone, so if you visited him first and then won the challenge you couldn't get the Enchanted Dagger. I used to use that first and then switch it once I got the Blade of the Fox.
