Sorry, but I can't resist...even if it did turn you invisible, we would still know who you are by the volume of opinion you put forth on a daily basis :)

Actually, I only post when Thingirl refers to herself in the third person. Because it's really me.

Wow. Maybe I did kill some brain cells when I hit my head on the door frame.

Are you saying I'm crazy?

Yes, I am. I'm also saying that I'm loosing it.

Well, I am sure getting tired of all these 'strange' fellows staring at me! - surely there are some nice friendly barmaids around that these guys could chat-up and leave us adventuresome types alone... :cool:

It'll be interesting to see as the name hints at a few possibilities. Then again the name could have no connection to the adventure.

(I don't have a favorite FB team. But please, if we start talking about sports, there will almost surely be a minor flame war. So, if you want to talk about FB or any other sport, please make an appropriate thread in General Chat.)

It is live!]

edit: just finished it.

It's a delightful little adventure where you do battle with cockroaches, mice, worms, and rats. Defeat the swarm of rats in the westernmost square to get a massive silver ring, which you give to Piripor for around 256/32 xp. You can also get 3072/256 xp if you defeat Piripor's pet cat in a battle. I'm not sure what happens if you use a skill or a power though. Be careful though. You can only subdue the cat and it's 18+ at 182 MR.

Who would have thought that I would need to use WoD and a shot from the finger to subdue Piripor's cat?

That was fun!Except that my gender kept getting mixed up-I kept being refered to as a "he" for most of the adventure.I'm female.Also, I got to play the role of the world's smallest exterminator!:D

Defeating the massive rat:

Piripor's Cat:
* 8xp to Illusion (50+)/Elementalism (50+)/Gating (50+)/Telekinesis (50+)/Archery (50+) - you avoid fighting the cat.

If you found the Massive Silver Ring:

Massive Silver Ring

Massive Silver Ring (Use)

* Class: Armour, Finger
* Encumbrance: 20
* Quality: Common

This massive silver ring bears a crudely-engraved inscription on the inside of its worn

band.

The inscription reads: 'To my beloved Piripor'.

Due to your shrunken state, the ring (which would easily fit around your waist) is extremely

bulky.

I could do that later today. I plan to run through the adventure with one of my lower MR characters in a bit to get the required 9+ MR for the adventure. You can't flee from the swarms (if you want to get the reward for retrieving the ring) so that part at least is essential. :)

Edit: It appears that "A Rough Night in Stoneback" is a prerequisite for "Underfoot".

Thank you for all your hard work and research Mr. Black. if I seemed a bit quick with you on that PM about items, I did not mean to be. I just wanted to save you the trouble of researching items that we already have.

But for me anyway, the research is a reward in itself. Anyway, I repped you.

Definitely a non AG adventure with an AG aspect.

Considering the fight with Piripor's cat is a subdual and the level I don't think any non AG character would have a chance at successfully completing it.

Hawk had relatively little trouble with the feline. The secondaries used the Divination/Shadow Magic combo to try to keep their quickstone heals intact for a later run or two through LoO as they are still hunting gems. Also my personal preference is to try not to use the Wand and Finger during subduals.

I say try because one of my secondaries used a quickstone heal and another kept fizzling and resorted to a blast out of the Wand for an impressive 300+ result.

Very nice adventure with a surprise twist by the GM. What I'd really like is to have Zarzorak's ring. Runtskin anyone. ;)

I immediately thought of Barn's joke about Rokmokkora when the transformation took place - lol. :D

That's what drew me into AG. Not this fight specifically, but that type of "problem". 7 Goblins was hard to finish without AG gear... Patience in leveling my skills/powers may have won the day, but it would have taken a lot of grinding...

I used Elementalism, (need to spread around the Exp.) - a cool description/story followed. No way my wimpy MR 112, SP 115, would hold-up to a full-on kitty attack!

Your exploration takes you far and wide across the realms, and proceeds without incident, until...on an icy winter day, in a dark section of wood in southern Tysa, you encounter 5 Giant Rats.

You are quickly engaged by the enemy...
