Topic / Section Idea - Weapon (and other) Bonuses?

I didn't know exactly where to put this, so move it if need be . . .

Would it be beneficial to start topics on bonuses and special attacks from certain weapons, especially the lower end Tally's ones? I can't imagine that the GM put in 25+ slashing weapons worse than the SSL that you can get for free without a good reason (especially considering you are paying over 200 AT for a better weapon than SSL). I have not used any weapon from Tally's except the Rotbane, so I don't know how they hold up, but I think it would be neat to see how the different weapons stack up against each other in terms other than MR. Does this make sense, and would it be a beneficial thing to have in the forums? Thanks to you veterans for putting up with this inquisitively-minded one month Sryth rookie :)

Do you mean, the damage for special attacks? Investigation on special attack damage has been brought up before, and a few people here have done some testing on it (in particular Hastifer, who is on and off a lot lately). If you'd like to contribute to testing, I don't see why not. I think as long as you record a good number of rounds (100+ rounds of combat) and test it in a controlled manner, you can either analyze your own data, or post on the forums for someone else to analyze.
