.....from the land of bites sticks and stings. The land 3 moons(months of December,January and February) and the eternal summer the remaining nine months....The land of a single star..."Tejas" Texas.
Have found and Registered as well as upgraded to this really good game.
I'm an older RPG player. I started playing Old Dungeons and Dragons, the little 3 book boxed set some 32 years ago. (Favorite Module was AD&D Tomb of Horrors),and In that line I must say that Sryth does well to being the closest thing I could find in a text based game.
Well written and thought out. Good balance..and relies on ones ability to dream imagine and visulize not just overclocked cores and high dollar PX cards!
This allows more time for expanding the world of Sryth.

Thanks to all who write design and play!

Hello ByTor and as Wetheril stated Welcome to the Forum.

Always good to have another "oldschool" D&D'er aboard.

Tomb of Horrors - excellent. Definitely a love-hate relationship with that one.

I started courtesy of friends' older brothers with the 3 box set also. Played the red basic and blue expert boxed sets but primarily 1st edition.

There's a D&D group as well as several others on the forum - check under community (top bar) then social groups.

Again, Welcome to the Forum - if you have any questions feel free to ask.

What oldschool said... from another old time d&d'er.

Always good to seen keen players climb on board!

My first module was Tomb of Horrors, and I was a first-level fighter. If you're wondering, I was part of a party of super high-level adventurers, including a half-dragon, so I let everyone else do the heavy lifting.

Also, hello to a fellow Texan. As they say, if you don't like the weather, wait around a few hours - it'll change.

From what I've been able to determine, just about everyone says that no matter where they live.
