Had some questions for folks that didn't pick up the ring.

First I know that folks that didn't couldn't finish A Brief Encounter (intially at least) and get the subsequent adventure iirc. And I'm guessing anything else since.

I know Arik didn't pick up the ring and I think Thingirl mentioned that Thinman didn't (on at least one character).

I still think that may have been an oversight by the GM unless a work around appears. If so I'd think it would be timely and therefore should've already surfaced.

Anyhoo.... for anyone that didn't pick up the ring and couldn't finish A Brief Encounter a couple questions which may be redundant depending on your answer(s).

1. Is your character(s) still in limbo on this? If not how did it get resolved.

2. Has anyone contacted the GM? If so what was his response and action if any?

Thanks in advance.

I just noticed that your number of posts now equals your reputation. Impressive.

I'm interested in the answers you pose as well. Hopefully Arik can fill in the gaps.

Oh, *thud* I knew I was forgetting something!

I pestered dad enough that he finally contacted the GM. It was a bug, if you didn't pick up the ring, you should have gotten it. And he completed the adventure (Dawn in Hawklor is showing in his finder, and A Brief Encounter isn't). I don't have a copy of the email, though.

So if I'm reading that right you were supposed to get the ring anyway even if you didn't pick it up?

Yes. And that makes sense because there is no way to continue without using it.

Thanks TG I thought it might have been a bug. Glad it got resolved for folks.
