One thing that would be nice for dungeons is a directional movement link system that stays constant. Like a small compass type graphic that is always in the same location on the screen regardless of the descriptive text. This way you don't have to move your mouse around the screen and read to find the right direction. Might seem like a small nit pick thing but I think that after you've done some dungeons a bazillion times and can do them in your sleep having an efficient movement system like this would be really nice and probably not that hard to code in.

For rooms that special actions or exits you could still use the standard descriptive links.

Erm, you know you can click your surrounding squares on the map, right? So we don't need anything more - you can use the standard links that show up, or the map image - whichever you prefer.

But the map bobs up and down depending on how much descriptive text there is, so you have to keep moving your mouse around to catch up with it. I think Delta's point was that it would be nice to have something that stayed in the same place, and I agree. It would be fine if the map were tweaked to maintain its position regardless of the text, which I think is probably more likely to happen than adding a compass.
