Thanks OS but I thought your alts were getting ready to pass Durge by on the rankings. Durge is sitting on 100+K specific experience in almost every skill and power. BDK once said how he was sitting on that amount in each skill and power so I figured I would see what it looked like in person. Now if I could just grind with Durge a little more I would see it.

1 minute ago Judge Fury met a gruesome fate at level 83 of The Lords of Ogredom.
...Genteel went out the window and swear words came aplenty. Sure, I was down to 50SP, but how often does an ogre hit for that much, eh? I'll tell you how often.... Just once is enough, and I was dead!

Sitting on 9 uses of Luridor's stone and 2 Quickstone heals, and that danged, blasted, mother-scumming dirty expletive botheration of a stupid ogre king hit me. He didn't just king hit me, he emperor hit me. He Oligarched my ass. If there is a President of big hits, this ogre was definitely Commander in Chief.

Am I angry? You betcha!

Fades, Myrddraals, Neverborn, Halfmen... Always 'fades' from view... XD

Climbed to level 354 or 355 for that, using sword & Restoration only, no Divi, FoD, QS, WoD, Luridor's stone, BoP, or rabbit's feet, didn't even equip the "NV gear" (only ~60 NV with the Hale Blade equipped from the start - at least I brought that along, this time) - though a good number of orbs along the way - before I had enough.
That's a long drag all the same. Got another encounter out of it, though. That one the minimal (~1,000/256).
Still good great time/reward ratio. If she shows up. Otherwise just a looong clickfest - without those TGL AS&P rewards, not much to show for it.
I must average about one run every two months, for several months now. (In spite of all that time I've spent grinding.)
Once I start, I'm loath to stop (anything) - and 350+ levels... my eyes glaze over, I let my brain wander as far as it wants while trying not to get killed. I avoid it.
Even when there's no other grinding worth doing, and I have both time and desire to play, I avoid it. :-)

After several months I finally visited the BHC again. I got two encounters with the Ghost Lady (each one for 1024/256) and a new personal best - 26 levels better than before (new: 221, old: 195). :)

Another change that seems to have accompanied the new game screen is that finishing a battlegrounds challenge now spits you out OUTSIDE the battlegrounds, where you can step directly into the encampment and save.

It does? That wasn't the case yesterday. But it might have to do with me achieving a new personal best on the BHC. Maybe if you just complete the challenge, without improving your best... I'll check it out later.

Not bad, considering that the level 60 boss and the level 61 ogre were both 15+ for me. :)

EDIT: And then a slight improvement on the BHC: From 221 to 223 (i.e. from #33 to #31). :) Just one encounter with the Ghost Lady for the min reward, but I don't mind. :)

(It was gradual, by the way - 365, 366, 368, 369, 370s, ... 381, 384, I think, and then... 386 - I wanted that number, actually, ending, as it is, in 86. But I really doubt I could go an inch higher if I tried, except by lucky black orbs. Hard to take down those things with all their SP, and at 16+. 17+, 18+ to hit, and slow going, too. Can do 200-300 levels in 20-30 minutes, but those last ones past 350 or so can take as much, or longer, by themselves. Won't be doing too much of that.)

After getting +3 MR from the pool in Fogbough and another +3 MR from a small green mushroom I tackled the battlegrounds challenges again. The results:
Lords of Ogredom:
Old best: 22 Shadowblack [shadowblack] 67
New best: 18 Shadowblack [shadowblack] 71

BHC:
Old best: 25 Shadowblack [shadowblack] 238
New best: 24 Shadowblack [shadowblack] 245

I also met the Lady twice: first time I got 3072/1024, second time I got 1024/256
