It really was meant to be a joke, but Joddelle actually reminded me of one I did forget (though it isn't necessarily a milestone so much as a boast).

And Drusilla got "my" KB. I've gotten KB before, both well-deserved and not so much.

Most of my (MP) play time happens during the times when people that regularly post the results aren't likely to be playing. I usually don't post the results because of the difficulty involved (no copy/paste function), but made a point of it this time... ;)

I wanted to eat some mushrooms from Fogbough to boost my SP, but made the wrong choice...and got nothing

I'm not sure what the GM tweaked over the weekend, but it gave all my characters a ranking boost. Xaran went up about 5 positions (to 51), Amir went up 8 (to 89), and Vylix went up 9 (to 94).

That puts them all firmly in the top 100, a goal I've been aiming for for a very long time. Vylix was at 103 (had been up to 99 at one point, but I knew he wouldn't stay there long) when I put everything on hold to complete the new Fogbough stuff with Xaran. Which I also did this morning: finally got my third pouch!

Next major goal is to get Vylix his Ice Shield (Xaran's had his for a while).

Again I have work to do. Later today I will hopefully run through The Eye that Binds and once the egg in the cave hatches I will have another quest to complete. Apart from Tarn where I have only reached the first lower level until more of "The Alder Throne" becomes available it seems that grinding is the only way forwards.

The egg. Save before going to the place. You can fing the demoness, but she is HARD (14+ @ ~ MR 160, a TON of SP). I got defeated sevral times, but eventually got her :D. her summons are easier.

And Alanne has all powers at or above 70, 6 skills at or above 80, 4 at 79, and the other 8 at 78.

Thordon's skill bonus for both Diplomacy & Seamanship is 30%. The bonus for the rest off his skills and powers is 25%.

I wonder how much it takes to raise a power from 99 to 100 at (I think) a 30% bonus. Multiply that by 5 and you get... wow. And he only has a week. Although, he's been siting at 99 for a while...

Yup. I pretty much do one tarn run, one ogre run and one ice cave run a day at various points at work. And I'm still not entirely caught up with all the new stuff.

e: To bring this thread on topic, I finally broke the top 100! I had to use most of my 100k general experience to do it though, so I'll probably sink right back down. It's crazy that some of you people are hoarding it in the millions, but then again my skills still take less than 10k to upgrade.

It won't be easy to catch up because we have a few insane grinders who will always be ahead of the pack (till the hit lvl 100 in everything!). People like me who don't grind that much are falling down the rankings. I dropped from No. 2 to No. 11 already!

Right after this Amir finally got his 2nd Dragon Totem, which means though he has one totem to go, his totem bonus is maxed out (he has the Serpent). That makes all three of them with that, too.

Next goals: get Amir to Necromancy 90 (he's at 88), then Weaponry and Weaponry: Staves 90 (currently 83), and get Vylix his Ice Shield (he's at 15 Moonpath runs as of last night).

If you grind at all, Gating is by far the easiest Power to level up to 100. After level 70, you get 128 specific XP to it (along with 64 or 32 general XP) every time you close a Shadow Path while exploring the realms at random.

Joddelle had Gating to 100 before she had any other Power to 90, and I didn't use any General XP leveling it.

Necromancy... I lean on that heavily in the early game, but once it reaches 70 I concentrate on other powers.

Most of the time the Demon Lord who comes through the Gate does more damage than my Legendary Weaponry and Slashing skills with the SSL. And that's with only level 82 in Gating. What will level 100 do?

I see...that makes sense, but what about Fortification? You can get 32 each time you go to Tarn, plus another 128 for each Ice Troll Cave and, different, random amounts for the Legends of Ogredom? Now, in combat, Fortification is not very effective, but it is still easy to grind.

Wielding my Copper-Emblazzoned Broadsword, I got an MR bonus of +108 during a fight. Coupled with my 245 MR, I would think this is the first 350+ MR hit is our game (at least by someone posting on the forum).

Not a bad milestone! It is the 4th best milestone after:

All Powers at 100
All Powers at 90
All Powers at 80

All of these are almost out of reach for most players. Only the Magicals, Joddelles, Raceys, SMVs, Shadowblacks, and Judges can reach them!

Lol.... The Bowl of Blood was one time I was more than happy to burn up some general xp. The Ice Shield was definitely another. I don't know if the joy came more from the items in and of themselves or the fact that the hunts were finally put to rest.

I've now finished all the AG quests to date - still working on Alder Throne and Bowl of Blood.

Question - I've seen references to "mid-level" and "high-level" characters. What range of skills/powers would you consider as "low level," mid-level" or "high-level?" I'm using skills / powers as the sole criteria since technically you can donate a bunch of money on your first day and get a ridiculously high MR / SP / NVR from Tallys.

Personally, I have all powers (65-70) and all skills (70-80), and since I've finished all the AG quests would consider myself "high level," but others undoubtedly have different criteria.

Any thoughts?
