It's been a few weeks since I last donated. My available AT's were running a bit low, so I thought donating for a $10 top-up was in order.

I've done this quite a few times, so I'm practiced in the paypal screens and saving at Trithik to receive the message that I've been rewarded, and "hey presto", there are my AT's.

This time, I was concerned to note that I never got the reward even though paypal had cpmleted the trnsaction and my checking account had had the relevant amount deducted.

Naturally, I felt aggrieved and promptly sent the GM an email (asking for my AT's to 'appear').

His answer:
Hi,

The building with the blue door (admissable in Trithik, Talinus and Hawklor) is where donation rewards are now claimed.

This changed about a week ago. It used to be where saving your game in the city of Trithik added the reward to your character. Now, you need to visit the windowless building with the blue door and click the "Claim Your Donation Rewards" option.

You no longer have to select which character will receive the donation reward when you make a donation, as you can have any character on your roster take all or part of the reward. This change allows players with multiple characters to be able to select how to divide reward ATs among different characters if they choose, and it also automatically resets donation rewards if a character is restarted or deleted.

So by selecting that option in the windowless building (it will be thefirst option you see there) you'll be able to claim the donation reward for Judge Fury.

I don't remember seeing this in previous messages from the GM, or in the forum, and it's important information for regular donors to know... mainly that your AT's are reclaimable if you restart or delete a character.

How cool is that?

That's a good change. It allows a player not to lose the donations at a restart. In fact, I'm tempted to restart my character; but the only thing holding me back are my raffle wins and seasonal gifts (all very considerable after years of gameplay).

Very cool. I think you always could reclaim the ATs from a restarted/deleted character, but you had to contact the GM and make arrangements for it. This new method just handles it automatically -- no GM intervention needed. Anything that gives the GM more time to focus on coding instead of bookkeeping is good.

Now if I could just transfer a raffle win from a deleted character, I'd have no reason left not to delete Storel. I'd just hate to throw away the Enchanter's Dagger, though...
