In my experience, when the gm gives a date for a new release/ event, it happens at the end of the day when the site goes through maintenance and update checks.

This usually happens in the evening (my time), so I'm fortunate in being among the first to see new content.

Mind you, my character has sometimes suffered because I lacked the patience to wait for others to share their experiences.
