It just occurred to me while I was doing the BHC, wouldn't it be a great idea to have some sort of elixir or other limited device for restoring NVR? I mean, there's plenty of ways to get SPs back - I currently have something like 25 Kepbekk leaves and 22 elixirs, an unused QS and 71 Restoration, but if I get low on NV during a Challenge there's nothing I can do. Maybe the GM could add some sort of similar device to the one currently sold by Luridor as an alternative. What does everybody think?

Good idea, I didn't think of that. It wouldn't be much good if it was only available twice a day though.

NV is my secret weapon... I'm sure Nathair Ap Dubh would agree (him having a base NV total over 100 - mine is 92)
The people who donate regularly are made obvious with their high MR/SP scores, or, in the case of Judge Fury and Nathair Ap Dubh, their not-so-quite-high-MR/SP-scores-but-very-impressive-NV-totals.
I truly think that having access to inexhaustable NV points could unbalance the game.
How so? The Restorative power alone would be enough to make any character damn near immortal if it was inexhaustable. When I'm at the battlegrounds, I rely heavily on NV points at the higher levels to score the big damage points. Again if this was inexaustable, why would any monster bother getting out of bed in the morning?
PS... can you let me "borrow" some of those kebbek elixirs? I quaffed all mine long ago. They would be awesome to have at the battlegrounds!

Well, that's why there should be limits on NV. I'm not disputing that. But it seems to me that if you can have limited restoration (as opposed to Restoration) of SP and also be able to recover by resting, then the same ought to be true for NV. That's also why I suggested something similar to Luridor's Stone (only maybe with stricter conditions on it, like perhaps half or a quarter of the total the max granted). That way, it could cost a couple of AT's, thus discouraging frivolous use but without requiring massive amounts of cash either.
Alternatively, the elixir idea seems good to me because there would be a limited supply, though I wish there were more Kepbekks too. Maybe someone should remind the GM about Gilbornn and Adrimar, now he's got Tarlaro sorted out.

Or maybe a super rare super hard-to-get orb that would restore some. Half maybe?

The ghost lady could be "upgraded" to restore SP and NVR in addition to the xp reward. Or the GM could introduce a safe location every 50 levels.

No, not a safe location. That would be way too abuseable. Maybe a resting place (like outside Jadefang), but not a SAFE place.

I had previously (months ago) suggested a third type of orb to the GM. That orb would have partially restored nevernal reserve points. Failing that I also mentioned the possibility of the ghost lady restoring SP and NvR. I also suggested safe points at every 100 levels. Safe points with a save only option meaning no resting or restoring SP or NvR. My in game suggestion email went unanswered.
